He wasn't supposed to fall in love with her. It didn't make any sense. How could he fall in love with a suspect? Why a part of him refused to believe she was capable of hurting someone, let alone kills anyone?

He sneaked inside a dimly lit room and noticed the figure tied to a chair. He ran towards her and she jolted upright, like a deer caught in the headlights. She stared at him, shock written all over her face. "It will be ok, I promise" he said and started untying her.

He looked at the sleeping form beside him. It was dark and stormy outside. It was hard to keep his focus on the road, but he needed to get out of this area soon. He looked at his rearview mirror - the house was becoming smaller and smaller. The kidnappers had planned to kill her and set the house on fire. Ranveer had made it on time, fortunately.

They sneaked outside of the room and noticed the men inside a room. He indicated her to go outside first. They came outside but unfortunately one of the men realized Priyanka was missing. He ran out of the house and called out to the duo. Ranveer indicated Priyanka to run as fast she could towards the jeep. He tackled the man on the ground, throwing punches. Ranveer managed to run, away from the man, towards his jeep.

Why did he bother to save a potential suspect from kidnappers again? It couldn't be. How can the suspect be a beacon of hope in his life?

The man looked the jeep, as he was lying on the ground, feeling as if he can't move a muscle. His eyes slowly shut, as he heard his partners running out, calling out his name. The man had saved the girl on time. Darn.
