I have seen Zindagi Gulzar haii and the comparisons you have drawn between Kashaf and Shivaay are totally right..they are those kind of people who will keep it all inside their heart..and not say it at all..yet love and give with all their heart..I am waiting for Shivaay's outburst coz when that will happen..nobody will be able to say anything..All the hurt,anger resentment will turn into love and more of it..when he confesses his love to Anika...he is really not the simple love type person..he is the passionate,overtly protective and fiercely possesive sort of a lover..he is the kind who would want to hide away Anika from the rest of the world..just to keep her for himself..his own personal and private refuge away from the damned woes of the world..his happiness and His home..I really liked the way Shivaay decided to take Anika away with him to a place where she would recover early..I liked how Pinky questioned that you were leaving your home for this girl..what Pinky doesn't understand is that he was leaving his house..and taking his Home,his sanctuary and his peace..his Anika with him..loved the episode..just hoping that these two don't break each other to the point of no return..

I don't know if you have read my previous post where I had explained how Shivaay has made his own little world with Annika which he keeps away from the world outside.. he doesn't even let annika peep outside their perosnal little world.. he has created a small yet strong shell around him and annika that he the world is alien to him when Annika is the centre he is concentrating on..

And this very personal space he made erks his mother...

I have read that post..brilliant interpretation of Shivaay's selfish yet selfless love..and you are totally right..I think the Zindagi Gulzar hai monologue of Kashaf fits Shivaay's situation totally when she refuses to acknowledge that she will miss Zaroon..
She says "tum Meri Zindagi ka markaz bante jaa rahe ho.." that sounds totally true with Shivaay when it comes to Anika..and he just can't accept it.. 😆

Every monologue of kashaf about Zaroor after marriage suits shivaay even that where she says " iss aadmi ki aajeeb si aadat hogayi hai mujhe, ye agar mere Zindagi se chala gaya to mera kya hoga?" Awww..all the right, legit feels.. 😳 His SSO tashan and Tadi is at stake in accepting his love for her..when actually his love isn't just love..it is the "Ishq waala,Sauz waala,Faiz waala love " 😳 the old school,poetic love..the kind that happens in real life and is perfect in all its imperfections and flaws..
