Haha it does sound a little silly. I'm reading the recaps now, but some of the recaps aren't that easy to understand. I was hoping to get the main points from this post and I can go watch the episodes of what seems important or fun.

Which precap you didn't understand?? If you ask sequence wise someone or the other will tell you

KALYANI Oberoi has two sons & a daughter. Elder TEJ, his wife JANVI , his mistress SVETLANA. He has three children OM, RUDRA, PRIYANKA.
Younger SHAKTI,his wife PINKY & only son SHIVAAY. A daughter ROOP who stole from her own family with her husband & was put to jail.
SHIVAAY -Eldest, takes care of all his siblings, doesn't believe in love & thinks everything is a deal. He has low opinion of people who lack name, superior bloodlines & lineage. He was to marry Tia who ran away on their wedding day. So he forcefully married their wedding planner who he has feelings for from the beginning by blackmailing her that he will kill her little brother Sahil.
OM -He is an artist.Hates liers. Had drug abuse problems. Shivaay helped him out of it. Hates his father from ruining his mother's life. Accepted to marry SVETLANA ( his dad's mistress for which he have to give her 100 crores & that's why going to Barelli to crack a deal for a hotel[plot for DBO]) I am skipping about ISHAANA bcoz it will not help you in any way. He had a opportunistic ex- girlfriend, RIDDHIMA who he broke up with after realising she was helping his father to pit him against Shivaay.
He was helping Priyanka to cover up an accident she did guilt of which got him into drugs. He use to believe in love ardently but now believes love only brings pain after seeing his mother's condition.
RUDRA- youngest. Fitness freak, funny. Had a thing for Romi, a sexy girl in his class. Met Saumya her child hood friend & fell in love with her & accidently married her. They don't believe in the marriage.
PRINYANKA- has anxiety disorder bcoz of the accident trauma. The girl she killed was ACP Randal's sister. He is forcing her to marry him to avenge her. Nobody knows this in her family.
ANIKA- Orphan. Has a foster brother SAHIL(8 yrs) for whom she can do anything. Has no lineage, bloodlines, surnames. Uneducated. Selfmade. She loves Shivaay but believe that he will never lover her back as she lacks everything he holds superior in a person. She had a fight with Shivaay, he accidently pushed her & lost her memory. He is trying to revive her memory by recreating their moments.
SAUMYA- Her & Rudra's Dadi are friends. She loves her brother a lot & lost him. Has a mother. Is going to marry her boyfriend Reyan.
MRS.KAPOOR- has three daughters. Svetlana, Tia & Romi. They are avenging Oberois for their father's death. Mrs. Kapoor blackmails Shivaay that she will tell everyone that Om is Tej's bas***d & has forced him to divorce Anika using that. This is probably not true.
TIA- is married to Dushyant (aka Robin, may or may not be dead, pretended to be her brother in the beginning) is pregnant with his child. Has told Shivaay that the child is his. He doesn't believe it, but has to accept it bcoz of fake DNA reports.
ROMI- pretended to be a goddess (cult) to force Rudra to marry her.
Some other stuff-
DAKSH- Shivaay's Ex- childhood friend. Psychopath. Obsessed with Anika. Made Shivaay believed that Anika slept with Daksh for money. Shivaay believed it. Contributory factor for their (ShivIka's) marriage. His misunderstanding was cleared when he researched about that night after Daksh had kidnapped Anika & almost killed her. Now he knows Daksh lied & is sorry about it.
Daksh managed to create misunderstanding in Pinky's mind before going to jail. She therefore hates Anika as she believes that she is characterless.
ROOP- in the beginning made efforts to avenge the Oberois using Gayatri. Gayatri is dead ( probably killed by Roop). Shivaay was accused of killing Gayatri but Anika saved him by telling yeh police that they spent the night together. Randhawa was handling Gayatri Murder case.

Try to find the Kahani ab tak videos of hotstar. Few 45 minute episodes that summarizes few weeks at a time.
