I see all this is in a very positive light, the equation of Obros was never so strong and better as it was shown in today's episode, all three brothers have their own demons, inner conflicts and different traits that makes them different from each other, but when it comes to their relation I think it's the most sacred, divine and the most beautiful part of this whole story, now extended to DBO, it's their love for each other that binds them and today's episode was the proof that no matter what they will remain stronger and will be there for each other.

Shivaay is just showing OM a way to make his identity a new one which is the need of time, OM is going through a rough time and he needs all the support he can get and shivaay is helping him, shivaay wants to build a five star hotel and who better than his own brother to get the land for him for this purpose. This is a very interesting plot and we should enjoy every bit of it,

Like I said Om turning into a business man is not his heart's wish too, his first job and duty is to get rid of the woman who is responsible for the ruin of the happiness of his family and above all due to her his mother is fighting for her life, it's all the need of time, Om is just bitter and disheartened he's not turning into shivaay or anyone , he's still om and will always be, when his girl will come everything will be changed as we all know.

Om becoming like Shivaay!!!
Hell no please, that's not the case he's not, because there's only one Shivaay and will always bein IB-DBO world!!!

Shivaay has no dark past, nor he was cheated in love, none of his parent abandoned him or cheated one another, he's shivaay and he's many layered, he has a loving heart, the only love he believes in is the love he feels for his family, other then that all relations are like deal and he's very very arrogant because he's the most successful business tycoon of the most respected and rich family and NKK matters to him above everything else and that makes him extremely judgmental.

Om, despite of belonging to an extremely rich family, enjoys his own freedom in his little world of art because he's an artist, though he's not a happy go lucky guy like always the problem is , his father who does not respect his choices and his mother and he has faith in shivaay his elder brother who he knows that in worst time will keep the family stronger and together.

See how different these two men are, and now things going out of hand, om's mother setting herself to fire and his father leaving house, OM has no choice but to take matters into his hand he never had any hopes with his father and now it has become a necessity for him to take a bold step and do something on his own, he just want to settle scores with his father and to avenge the humiliation his father gave to his mother and for that according to the need of time he needs money and has no support, but shivaay is there ofcourse shivaay is only making things easy for his brother that's it.

The lives of these two brothers are totally different, the scenarios are different then how can one become another????

Om is om and Shivaay will always be shivaay. Shivaay is no patthar dil nor was he ever, under the hard exterior he has a soft heart and anika is there to make him realize that he has soft corners too.

Om's wounds are now fresh and his heart is heavy with sorrow but it does not mean it's loveless, I am sure he believes in love still it's just that he does not have time for love and ofcourse he will deny it, but ofcourse his lady love will make him realize that he knows what love is.Om is only going to the business way to get rid of svetlanaa.

Please folks, don't say Om is becoming like shivaay!!! If Om will become a businessman which is yet to see how and when, he will be his own kind of business man not like shivaay.

Om should be Om that's what I want to watch in DBO. Killing the character essence just to fit his love story in name of takkar ka pyaar is just stupidity for me. As for me Om is more precious than any love story so I don't want Om to lose his charm.

This new Om hope is temporary can't take this version for long. No wonder no true fan of Om is liking this Om, his PR and even his own FL likes old Om. Hope they return him soon

I cant tell you how much I love this post and how true it is. I was actually going to make a post on this but you already did it so wonderfully👏👏😉

The Obros are growing up, in their different ways. They lead different lives, they experience different things, they have different family conflicts and past experiences as well as present experiences. Quite frankly Id be appalled to see Om being the same exact Om as before while going through everything that he is at present.
I think Om getting a little darker and heavier is crucial to his development due to circumstances and it perfectly portrays his inner turmoil
Shivaay has always been arrogant but not emotionally heavy, because he believes outside of family, emotions do not exist. If within a family there are so many broken and struggling relationships, what will he ever find outside. Everything therefore is a deal.

Meanwhile Omkara is the opposite. He fueled what he saw into what he hoped to prove wrong one day. One day he will have an unbreakable bond, one day he will show the world that this man who has such dark experiences will have a love and a light and love everything in his life.

So now his journey has taken a different route. He is still Om, but he has a lot of emotional baggage to carry, more than before. He has to rough it out, adjust his sensitivity and hope to be able to overcome what has happened. His journey is about rediscovering what he is struggling to hold onto, while Shivaay's journey it to discover what he never wanted to stretch his hand out for.

And I think this is an amazing turn in both of their characters.
Rudra as well. Rudra has grown. No one stays the same forever. Sure he scolded Sumo a lot, but that does not mean he is becoming Shivaay. He is growing into a man who understands family and wants to protect them too. Sumo is his soft spot and he doesnt even know it, thats why he shouts at her.

All in all the three are growing, changing, but the only constant in life is change. This is what makes the characters more realistic. To each their own, but I for one, appreciate this turn of events, no matter how much I loved seeing Rudra's childish ways and Om's deep and philosophical and loving ways. Om had to see the ugliness in order to toughen up a bit, because quite frankly the way he reacted before needed to change or at least he feels now he needs to make himself even stronger to break to reform himself from the pieces again. It like adding new touches to a piece of art. The old one doesnt loose its beauty, but the new product might be better suited to its purpose, as well as keeping with it its beauty, Rudra has to go all stern to mature(in whatever form and fashion) and then realise his serious side, which porbes his love for Sumo but his playfulness wil be kept intact. Shivaay needs to look into himself and find the parts that want to feel but he can still turn into lighter SSO versions when needed.

Dont we all change when new situations are launched at us?But it doesnt mean we are not the same person anymore specifically, certain aspects of our individuality have been blurred and tweaked but we dont become another person. Way in which we tweak itself is our individuality.

To each their own! but thats my view on this 😳Anyways my rant here is done.

Nice analysis Mallu.
You have brought out the differences between Om and Shivaay very well. Om is broken over the fact that his mother tried to commit suicide and his father was so callous as to get engaged with that snake Svetlana.

As Om told Shivaay, he will not fall weak but is strong like his brother and support his mother when she needs him the most is a journey that we are going to enjoy seeing on tv. His belief system in love has taken a hit but then... he is going to have Gauri to prove to him otherwise just as Anika showed the other side to Shivaay. How Shivaay's prejudices and thoughts on the middle class have changed (he is yet to admit to himself that he is in love with Anika) but he has undergone a sea change.

The bonding of the brothers will not change and that was reinforced today.

I understand for many omkara fans this is mere stupidity, but think of not just about om but the situation he is in right now, the events leading him to do something that is the dire need of time that's it. I am sure once gauri will enter his life, things will get pleasant than ever.

No I am not complaining with his transformation how ever I know they shouldn't have changed Om. But his transformation was much needed and done in the most logical way it would have been stupidity if they had shown Om sprouting shayaris on ishq after watching his mother and what kind of person his dad is. I am just hoping even in this state Om shouldn't lose his qualities like respecting woman, others pain and mostly in the name of cold he don't turn into inhuman and cruel 😆

my point exactly can you imagine him going into his room painting and making statues and be angry will take out his anger and will try to relieve himself by doing all this??? ofcourse not.

I think Om getting a little darker and heavier is crucial to his development due to circumstances and it perfectly portrays his inner turmoil

his inner turmoils are torturing him all this is like you said is important for his character development for DBO plot

Beautifully said!!! Anika is there to make him realize what mallika said"baarish mein sirf geelahy nahi hotay bheegtay bhi hain"

And I think this is an amazing turn in both of their characters.

Oh god, your analysis is brilliant, so beautifully put, and yes we do change according to situations good and bad, good brings light to our thoughts and makes us see things in a positive manner but bad things do break us and makes us bitter, good and bad keeps the balance and even bad things teaches you good lessons they are part of who you are.

Lovely post 😳😳

Amazing post Mallu!

Will copy my post for DBO forum" I dont think they are spoil O's character..Bcz this side of Omkara they are always wanted to show...So this change of character would have come sooner or later. Be it IB or DBO. Dark side of Omkara always was there...Now they are want use it in his story and ofcs love story. Thats it. Now this day here. But it not make gim SSO-2...

SSO is SSO..And Om is Om...Rudra is Rudra...Actually all 3 brothers have dark side...But all different. I personally feel Om darkest of them all. And now we will see how he will fight with himself.

Actually I feel Gauri will remind him his old nature (Ofcs she cute, funny, bubbly) but I feel she will have nature like old Om...I mean sach ka saath, against lie, ppl is only good or bad...there no difference between poor and rich and etc...

Harneet also said it will be beautiful journey how OSO will become Om again.
