the systematic death of Omkara

I loved ishqbaaz because of Omkara. straight and simple. It was the distinct three characters that they created that collide yet coexist in the three brothers. the ek kahani and three kisse. I was in love with the idea that IshKara presented. for the first time, it would be the girl who would be the brains and the man who would be the soul of the operation. the contrast of sensitive introvert and the tough extrovert is the classic hindi soap story that we had all seen before but almost always it was the man who plays tough to the girl's damsel. but this angle was just so interesting- for the girl's grey to ensure the man's white. to see him be the light in her life rather than the other way around. for him to be her good instinct. it showed that its ok for men to be sensitive just as it is ok for women to be grey and street- that is not an inherently male quality just as emotions are not female. thus when vrushika quit i was hoping they would just revamp ishaana's character and/or that story line and present the unique story they were initially going for minus the 5 secs of bela mala bs. i would be fine even if that story took him to svetlana, regardless of how gross that situation is. you rarely see artistic sensitivity in a man and even more rare is retaining that post traumatic life practices and the pressure from life. his heart, his love of emotions and emotionally based principles were his definition. and he was wonderful. he needed that bad ass woman in his life so that he could continue being wonderful. but alas nothing beautiful lasts in hindi soap operas.
