I am also annoyed by the fact that they were celebrating Lohri after such a big accusation on a family member, but you must remember this is not Shivaay's fault. He did not organise the Lohri function.

After allowing Sahil to be insulted because of his silence, it is his DUTY to also take care of him. There are other relationships in life other than brotherhood that are also important and require time, care & nurture. A person has to balance all of their relationships in life, giving priority to one relationship doesn't mean that you have to completely abandon others.

Achha abhi Sahil ko insulted hote hue dekha and within hours (in the show's timeline) Anika ko sabke saamne wife ki tarah introduce karne ja raha tha (which is exactly opposite to what Mrs. Kapoor had asked him), he conviniently forgot Om's near death n said only time he was afraid when Anika was about to die

And you are right there are other relations excluding brotherhood (I made a mistake thinking this show has biggest importance to brotherhood), so now Om is preferring over his role as brother to the role of a son whose father has no trust on him n leaving OM, how does it make him selfish

I think the main purpose of the NB gang is to create a rift or separate the Oberois which is going to ensue - case in point the split between IB and DBO😆

Once Om leaves, he will also take away the fear/hold that phone-waving checkered blouse aunty has over Shivaay. Bereft of any reason to blackmail, Tia too won't have any solid reason to stay in OM. Svetlana is an antagonist for Om and Tej, Romi is supposed to target Rudra. They will be left without any vengeful purpose (unless they all intend to marry Shivaay now), if OmRu shift out of OM. I have some hope that Shivika might have some new antagonists in their lives (I am not entirely discounting Pinky).

Read a few comments on this forum that IB has nothing left to offer now that OmRu have left the show for greener pastures. WRONG! They forget that ShivIka were able to sustain the TRPs even when KuLee were not playing their roles due to real-life hospitalization. That is why ShivIka has a full show and a solo couple montage to themselves!😃 They are here to stay! Even if their storyline is bombarded with TRP infested drama!🤢

It is going to be more tough for the 10.30 p.m show because of the late timing. Moreover, by their fantastic handling of more than one LS, the writers turned Ishkara story into a damp squib, and led the RumYa story to an almost impasse. And the online audience only constitutes a miniscule percentage of TV watching audience.So kindly stop with the comparisons and 'good riddance to IB' comments because it might JINX the new show. Such thoughts always backfire! And yeah I am a little superstitious/believe in things getting jinxed.😕

I think the show is only meant to run for a short period of time before they amalgamate the 3 stories again. But it is only possible if the TRP aunties are well-fed. IB par iska keher dekh chuke hain hum! It is the reason for bringing in a TRP friendly female face coz if you think about it none among Surbhi, Neha and Vrushika have that typical Indian tv soaps Bahu look down pat (ala Ishita, Gopi, akshara). But Shrenu does! Yahan pe bhi TRP-driven story ki maar jhelni na pad jaaye!

It is a good opportunity for KuLee to showcase their talents and a gesture on the part of the PH to make some people stop cribbing. Yeh alag baat hai ki Gul's plans may lead to the sinking of her entire ship in the near future. Yup here too superstition accompanied by premonition!
