Lol, did anyone really expect anything more?
So maybe the firing thing may not have been the best thing to say, but these people are professionals and they should know how to handle criticism. Trust me, I've worked in a lot of live theatre productions, and everyone is always getting yelled at and grossly criticised. It comes with the job - if it was her first show, I would understand because it may come off as shocking, but not when she's been with the PH for years.
As for Annika's costuming, oh my mata, its terrible. The only semi-nice thing she wears now is that white suit she wears to sleep. Kudos to Surbhi for still managing to look decent with the horrific clothes she gets, I doubt a lot of other actors/actresses could. However, it is unfair and upsetting; why does a cameo get better costuming than a lead?
Ladies, a word of advice. Don't bother asking GK or her PH for anything. She's treated her fans terribly from the very beginning; whether they were Barun Sobti's, Vrushika Mehta's or Surbhi Chandna's. In fact, I think that she ends up treating them worse (up to the point where she fires them, and breaks contract which is so unethical). The next thing you know, Surbhi will be off the show as well.
It honestly makes me so upset that these people don't seem to have basic manners. I will be first in line to admit that asking for someone to be fired is stepping out of line, but they need to look at it professionally. I've been on Twitter, and seen such polite, decent requests for her costuming to be changed - but Ms. Shirali has never replied to any of them. Even if it was a very contrite, but civil response, she should have still answered. Obviously, I understand that she is busy, and can't be bothered to reply to the comment, but then, if she's so indifferent to it all, then why reply to the negative comment?
And I don't understand why she would bring KRPKAB into the discussion at all. Their clothes aren't even comparable, so even if the comment said something about the other show, the costume designer shouldn't have engaged in that conversation. The reply was extremely rude, and completely uncalled for. To be fair though, what can we expect?
The producer of the show has told fans to 'get lost' and to not 'bother watching the show'. And this woman is supposedly one of the best in the business. It's so disappointing as well, because all the actors of the show genuinely sound so lovely, and are literally the sweetest to their fans, so for them to be associated with such shoddy company is terrible.
God knows that 4 Lions desperately needs some PR help .
