The pain and the heartache was beautifully expressed - of Anika as well as Shivaay as he saw her cry. That man has done so much for everyone all his life, wonder if there was anyone ever there for him - in the same way. While he has always been there for OmRu and they have tried their best to be there for him, he hasn't really opened up to them as much for fear of burdening them with his pain, grief and fears. But would we ever see a day in the show when Shivaay opens up about his past, I doubt. Despite all his idiosyncrasies, the man is as human as can be. :)

Yes I agree...Shivaay as a human has his flaws but he values all his relationships and has always been there for everyone he loves, in all their good days and bad. I would love to see him open up to Annika one day, talk about his own problems growing up. It'd add a new dimension to his character if viewers were given a glimpse into what made him the man he is today, from where his beliefs about NKK stem from, etc...

The characters in this story are so well etched, there are so many layers to explore, so many storylines to pursue - the possibilities are endless.
