I don't think Swetlana was in the picture before 5 years. Tej must have had other illicit relationships. This is definitely not the first.

Then that would have been another story but at least Janvi wouldn't have proved herself to be spineless or her children wouldn't have grown up in such a toxic environment where they constantly witness war of words between their parents. I disagree with Anika, living with a family like that is much much worse than having no family (in Anika's case she at least had Sahil's loving family) I wouldn't wish such a family for anyone. Om would have still hated Tej and loved Janvi.

Obviously not and he was never even interested in Swetlana, she was more like a time pass for him, now since he feels that she has saved his life so he has become more of a deewana to her

But Om hates her the midst after Tej, so probably she was the most prominent one
