"THE SURPRISE "
CHAPTER-4
Anika along with her mom and dad enters the house and suddenly they hear a sharp cry "SURPRISE".
All of them shout in unison "ANIKA SURPRISE ".
Anika was standing dead shock .She couldn't remove her eye's from the person who was standing right in front of her. Tears filled her eye's and emotion gripped her heart.
Their he was the person she loved the most her brother "SAHIL".
She couldn't believe her eye's. Mrs Singh came forward and held her by the shoulder "Anika beta this is real ur brother is here." Anika looks at her once and then taking small step towards Sahil she reaches him.
She touches him in order to make herself realize that she wasn't dreaming.
And when the realisation struck her she hugged him tight tears running down her cheeks.
Looking at this reunion even Mrs.Verma felt her eye's moistining.
Sahil was now standing on his feet.He no longer used clutches to support himself. Shivay had got him treated by the most renowned orthopedic surgeon Mr.S .Das. Gupta.
During the treatment Shivay took extra care of Sahil.He would spend nights sleeping beside his bed in the hospital.
And now here was the result of all his care that Sahil was now standing on his feet .
Sahil loved Shivay like he loved his sister. He had even picked up some qualities of Shivay.
Anika felt very unfortunate for not being their with him during his hard times But she knew Shivay would take care of him.
She could never thank Shivay for what he had done for her brother.
Anika breaks the hug and wishes him "Happy Birthday Sahil".
Sahil wiping away her tears asks her
" Didi why didn't you come to meet me."
Anika ran out of words to this question. What would she answer him now.
But she quickly makes up and says "Kyunki main tumhari Class 4 wali Tanu yaad hai jise tumhara breakup hogaya tha bas usi ko mana rahi thi".
"Didi Bahut bakwas joke tha " Sahil answers looking crossed.
Sahil was no more a child and he could easily catch when her sister is lying.
Seeing the environment suddenly heat up Aryan jumps in and says Sahil do you want to fill your stomach with questions and answers or shall we cut your favorite Blue Berry Cake we are so hungry.
"Aap na bhukad ho Aryan Bhaiya " hearing this everyone burst into laughter while Aryan feels awkward but he didn't mind it when he saw Anika smiling.
They all partied together .
They danced, they sang ,they played Antrakhri ,they ate as much as possible and soon they all felt exhausted and decided to retire to bed.
Mr and Mrs.Singh bid their children God night and went to sleep.
Aryan slept in the guest room while Anika Sneha and Sahil retried to their room.
Sahil insisted on sleeping between Sneh and Anika.
While Sahil went to get himself changed Anika went near Sneh and hugged her.
Thank you so much Sneh for this surprise.
But we were supposed to surprise mom and dad right.
No my drama queen we were supposed to surprise you .Mom and Dad helped a lot.They took permission from the school authority to allow him a days leave.
First they did not agree but later when they mentioned ur name and gave all the details they agreed.
He is going tomorrow Anika asks looking sad.
Hey ,don't be sad sweetheart he has to go coz he has his classes and exams too .
Anika Mom and Dad still don't know about your relationship with the Oberois .
And it will be better Sneh that they don't know about it because. ...Anika just becomes quite without completing her sentence.
Because Anika come on tell me Sneh insists " Because Today in the office Oberoi's had cracked a deal with our company for worth Rs 250crore .
"This deal is very important for Dad as it will help his company to expand more and make more profit ".Anika explains.
Was it he who had come Sneh asks with an eyebrows raised.
No Sneh it was Om and Rudra who had come.
After so long I saw them. Today my day was full of surprises Sneh.
Anika was smiling and Sneh was glad that she did.
"Didi if you both are done with your gossiping shall we go to bed" Sahil asks.
"Yes Mr.Chotu pack bara Dhamaka" Sneh picks him up and makes him lie on the bed.
Anika and Sneh lie down beside him.
So Sahil tell us something about ur school how many girlfriends u made Sneh asks with smile on her face.
Sahil looked so mesmerized by her smile that he lost himself but soon Anika realized what her brother was capable of dreaming she smacked his head lightly bringing him back to the topic.
Didi you know what I am the most intelligent student most dashing and handsome boy of my class.
Sari larkiyan mujh par marti hai.
Currently meri 4 girlfriends hai but Sona is my favorite .
"Acha Sona" Anika teases him.
You know what bagadh billu every Sunday Milne ate hai. He takes me out and spends whole day with me.
Last Sunday I complained him about Tanmay hitting me on my head and you know what he did he got him restigated from the school .
Us din se toh koi panga nahi leta mujhse and Sahil laughs.
Over possessive Mr.Oberoi Anika tells her brain little did she know her thoughts were loud enough to be heard by Sneh who replied "That he is no doubt in that who knows he might come back to take back his property from us".
Anika stares at Sneh wide eyed soon realizing that the little one beside them had already fallen asleep.
They both smile looking at the sleeping figure .They both hug him and bid each other good night drifting into an exhausted sleep.

"Sir,your work is done we have her address and contact no ".
"Good Khanna, mail them I'll check it out "Om answers And keeps the call.
So what are we going to do next O' Rudra asks looking curious.
It's time to meet her Rudra.
I'll call her tomorrow ok.
Rudra nods in agreement.

How could u all allow him to go with anyone without my permission Shivay thunder over his phone on the school authority.
Sir we did not allow him at first but we were given full details on Mrs.Oberoi staying with him.
We verified every details and then allowed him to go sir.
Shivay was silent for some time and then asked was Sahil ready to go ?
Yes ,Sir he insisted on meeting his sister so we had allowed him.
When is he returning back ?
Sir tomorrow morning.
Ok when he returns let me know.
Ok sir and the line goes dead.
You have made a mess out of my life and emotions Anika and u will have to pay for every pain you gave me.

Sneh gets up in the midnight and finds Anika standing by the window staring at the moon.
Sneh gets up and goes to her.
Are you talking to vetals /ghost or are you planning to jump out of this window.
Anika looks at her and smiles faintly.
I won't die so easily Sneh I have to settle scores with so many of them.
Hey what is bothering you Anika Sneh asks concerned.
Sahil so much resembles him now a days .The way he talks his dress up scene everything resembles him.
He is getting closer to him day by day and I fear if I loose him.
I am feeling insecure Sneh.
What if Sahil comes to know the truth and chooses him over me.
Anika calm down nothing of this sort is going to happen. Sahil is ur brother and loves u more than anyone else.
So stop over thinking and it will be better if you sleep now ok.
Anika felt a bit relieved with the thought that Sahil still loves her and won't leave her.
They both smile at each other and retire to bed.
Anika hugs Sahil and drifts into a sound sleep.
