I do think, considering he's the ML, he would be the one going on the vanvas. Have they ever confirmed it?No they did not.
At first thought it would have been more in Om's character to go on the 'Vanvas' because of what he said to Ishanna , that if it ever came to choosing between the truth and family I would always choose truth. But then I guess he never took into account that it could have been his little innocent sister and truth he would have to choose between. That is a very tough choice for any older brother. Now after the accident track I am not so sure it is going to be him.
Similarly I never in my wildest imagination thought that Shivvay would ever even contemplate choosing between his NKK and someone else. But now after the Tia storm passes and the dust settles, he would have survived it only because of the steadfast rock named Annika that he had held on to. So you see she will have done what no other in his family has ever done for him before - She was the 'Great Wall' to the "Great Wall of Shivvay'. That says a lot for the woman and I can see him love her to the point of worshiping her as a superhuman.
I never ever imagined Shivvay leaving his family, Khoon and Khandaan to go on 'Vanvas' but now I am seeing the track kinda heading that wayI feel the same. Anika is so pure and honest at her core that Shivaay already is having a tough time staying away from her light. I think his interactions with Anika and Sahil to an extent are slowly changing his beliefs, but definitely the kicker will be when this guy, who is sooo full of tadi about his name, wealth, khandaan/lineage, power etc, realizes how indirectly the Oberois may have ruined Anika's past and are responsible for all the toiling that she has had to do up until the present. Along with the truth of Anika being separated from her sibling (her family that we know of so far) and being plagued by incessant nightmares of her Chutki and her fear of the dark.
In the beginning Annika broke so many of his preconceived notions about the middle class that he himself admitted to putting her on a pedestal above all others. That is the only reason the ONS made such a big impact on him. She was above all this according to him and in his eyes she could do no wrong, he began to follow all she told him and her opinions began to matter. Now that Shivvay is back and nothing and no one can change that opinion of her ever, he has put her back on the pedestal if you noticed and has began to worship the very ground she walks on. With her by his side he fears no one and nothing that is thrown his way. She has become his most trusted advisor and confidant.
I do not think this man, when he actually falls head over heels in love with her and admits that he did will take it very well that someone has hurt her so bad as a child that the trauma of that still gives her nightmares. He is overly protective of Annika and we all know the lengths to which he will go for her
