I loved the episode. Logic be damned, it was so satisfying to see the reactions of his family. watching Annika's suffering all over again was painful as a third person way with family reactions. his actions looked extra cruel this time around.

Annika is more than capable of giving Shivaay back as good as she got. She didn't wish for him to lose his brothers because she knows how it feels. She is not being Mahan but it's a gesture of pity and her big hearted nature. it didn't cost her much to cover for him but to him it was a lot.
I agree ... it was more to keep the family from breaking up and his bond with his brothers from breaking that she never told them the truth. She was more concerned about the effect it would have on Om and Rudra and was actually protecting them from them bitter truth.
In reality She cares more for his family than she cares for Shivvay at this point. She is not being Mahan as you rightly pointed but because she knows the value of a loving family she was trying to protect the family and brothers from the humiliating truth about their 'here jaisa beta' who they were so proud of.
He was the Jewel in their Crown and she could not bring herself to shatter that pride. Even Tej constantly compared his sons to Shivvay and told themthey were not as good as he was. Well Tej - look again because you would not want sons like Shivvay right now ...lol

I was hoping he'll behave now, but Abp showed him insulting Annika again with the one night stand issue. She almost slaps him but is stopped. 😒

I did say the PROMO of Tia being thrown out by Annika will happen only when Shivvay is a broken and shattered man with no one in his corner except his wife - Annika. She is truly the "great wall" for the Oberoi's now
Not even Shivvay will stop Tia from being led out of the house by Annika like the pariah dog she is. Annika knows Tia is the root cause of Shivvay losing face with his family and has to get her away from him because he in turn has caused his family pain and humiliation because of her actions.

To say I am happy and satisfied with the family watching the video will be an understatement

We all can say that 'hey they could have overheard the conversation between the two", OR hey they could have had Annika rant and rave about how she was treated which to a point she did with Dadi but again words did not have the impact. They could have done this and they could have done that BUT the impact of seeing him actually do what he did as opposed to it being narrated, you have to admit is by degrees different.

We all complained that he got away with it, we all complained that no one knew how much humiliation, pain and trauma (The bomb) Annika went through, we all complained that SSO was getting of the hook easy, we all wanted him to face his actions and own them, we all wanted the family to see what kind of a man he had become - The Hera Beta who wore a mask and hid behind it. It was the NKK mask that he touted so proudly and they forgave his every mistake and overlooked it because he could do no wrong in the name of NKK.

Well blooper or not, CCTV attached to Khanna's head with his ears as the antenna or not, dash cam on his car and on his rear view mirrors catching every loathsome move he made or not and security taking a video clip as their personal 'home movie' or not ... THE ACT HAD TO BE WITNESSED, EXPERIENCED AND SEEN FOR THEM TO REALIZE THE IMPLICATIONS AND IMPACT IT HAD ON ANNIKA AND HOW LOW THEIR 'GOLDEN BOY' COULD STOOP TO KEEP HIS NKK CHANT ALIVE.
I have not written much about this on the forum or made a post because it has become a topic of debate but I had to put in my two cents I guess at the end of the day

Shivvay's day of reckoning is here - his redemption beings and I for one am very happy 😊

Shivaay's pride came crashing down in a single shot..!

Though I cudnt see him like that...it was a brilliant watch..!

episode left me feeling satisfied... absolutely dont care about the blooper ... how they shot the video... may b shivaay's fone itself has a recording chip n om got the recording retrieved from there... thats the only way they can say that dushtia dint get recorded...

anyway that blooper apart... the episode had everything i hv been wanting to see... so yes i got out of my hiatus of not watching since the day tia ran from teh wedding... hv watched the episode 4 times already... online...hotstar... TV... hotstar... cant get enuf of it... n today im sure will be a continuation... TejVi and shakti still hv to make their comments and Om Ru's silent treatment... wow am i loving it or not...

as for the ONS segment... he is bound to get that in between him n anika... he is constantly thinking bout that...
