i loved both Dadi's n rudra's trying of bringing the old anika back..
it was really lovely..
well rudy boy is sometimes the only sane person in entire house..
good to see anika laughing like earlier times..

My Dearest Innika,

First and foremost, my sincerest apologies for getting back to you sooner. But please believe me that it wasn't for not trying ardently on my part. Things took a weird turn in my part of the world and I'm been trying to deal with the aftermath of it. However, I am back and I'll try my best to be a little less MIA.

Now let's move to the marvel that you have created here, shall we?

Firstly, thank you so very much for writing this! I haven't watched the in ages but I've been reading the updates and trust me they are enough to get a heart burn I tell you! But I love what you have done here, they way you have humanized each and every character, something that seemed to be missing from the show these days.

Coming to the Dadi's chapter first. Once again, thank you for showing this regret in the matriarch of the family! This is something I really need to see on the show! Honestly, for me, Dadi is behaving a tad bit selfishly by emotionally black mailing Anika into staying at that house. I understand her issues and I'm not saying she's wrong. But she's not right either and I for one desperately need to see her remorse first before we come to anybody else. So thank you for showing that! I love the way you have written this, its so unbelievable poignant, heartbreaking yet so hopeful.

And now we move to the gem that is the second chapter. I adore Rudra! Honestly, I love that man to pieces! And within your writing you brought out every single shade of his! I teared up a little by the end by the way, when Anika laughed. You made me feel everything that Rudra was feeling and I salute your for that!

You know what came to my mind when I read this? One of my favorite Oscar Wilde quotes. It goes like this: "A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world."

Rudra and Dadi, both are dreamers, aren't they? And when they saw Anika, they saw the moonlight that would lighten up the life of their dark Superman. The divine irony of it was that in trying to capture her, they also broke her. And there is nothing worse than watching moonlight slowly disperse into nothingness. Except that in this case, there is still hope left. And maybe the upcoming dawn is not a punishment or the death of their moon, but simply a new morning...

Thank you for writing this. You have no idea how much I needed to read something, anything really, that was hope full.

I cant sympathise with any Oberoi in the show right now because I feel that all of them are a bunch of self centred morons including Dadi but I am glad to see stories like these which are medicine to heartsick souls like me!! So thank you so much!!
