You know, I used to watch ipk with some hostel friends and my best friends hated it in college...And we medicos had to watch this scene where Arnav gives a CPR to her like really horribly and they teased me like for a month and by that time the serial had gotten so bad that I lost interest and just watched a few epis here and there..but this is soo much worse coz its been like only 150 epis???And Shivika were just amazing before the whole marriage crap!!

Anu IPK I binge watched in 20 days

didnt find it that bad maybe because I dint have to wait. I could skip what I didnt like

also, the other show kumkum bhagya - i have no clue what it is, just watched a clip on you tube after this discussion here but to think of it, they stuck to the premise of the show and what they said they will deliver - no matter how nonsensical it sounds but the plot just from the name and that clip i watched- some bhagya association of the heroine with her kumkum or suhaag ki nishaani or wtv. so however, mundane the track was, they showed what they sold - so no one can complain as ekta didnt cheat her fans

whereas gul promised ishqbaazi of 3 bros and delivered a useless bitchy vamp and a stalker track instead of a sensible jealousy track. also, she has ignored fans of OMRU like anything and yes, we have loved the focus on shivika but too much of anything is bad as we are learning now 😆!

i feel if they stuck to the original story line, they would still have had the original trps of 1.8-1.9 which was not all that bad and show would have run for a year - which is honestly a long enough run for a daily soap. now, i dont think it will go beyond march! gul deceived the fans and not just shivika but omru fans too! and its downright disgusting, she needs be humble which i dont think she is at all
