Can someone help me understand Shivaay

Okay so what I don't understand about Shivaay is that even after what Tia did he is still ready to save and bring her back home. Now I understand why he would save her maybe b/c of humanity or if the news got out then maybe people would start questioning if Tia was even at the wedding or whatever something like that. And I also understand that he brought her back home b/c other people will be like why isn't Tia living with you if she married you but this is the same girl who left him alone at the altar last minute not even caring about his family's reputation. And due to his reputation which matters to him so much that he kidnapped Sahil and had a fake explosion happen so Anika would be helpless and marry him. Like okay bring her back but what is she doing in your room how can he judge Anika for "spending the night" with Daksh (which didn't even happen) if he is letting Tia come into his room after being married himself?

@ Pink: I don't think he plans to have Tia live with him right now.

He had planned to marry Annika or the other girl for 1 day only so that the media and world would not know that the bride was missing. Who the girl was would not have been revealed if Om had not caught Shivvay's deceit.

Circumstances played it out that the Oberoi's ended up knowing it was Annika, though for the life of me I do not know how he was planning to suddenly present Tia the next day when he did not even know where she was. Now he has to live his period of marriage before divorce with Annika as his wife in OM as per Dadi's wishes. He will tell Tia that their marriage is still on as his marriage with Annika is only for x' number of months.

So basically the marriage deal is still on with Tia which means she will still be hanging around the OM.

@ Blue: Now that Tia fakes the kidnapping he will feel sorry for her and believe her as opposed to being angry with her.

Pretty sure all my questions will be answered if I just wait and patiently watch the show but like I just want to know overall why he brought back Tia if reputation matters to him so much like this girl leaves not having any respect for your family and you still want her to come back? Shouldn't he just like not bring her back b/c she might hurt his family again? I mean she has already disrespected his mom. I know he doesn't actually know why she left but when he finds out will he even tell the news about the truth or not b/c of his family reputation? So lost

I kind of just wanted to clarify that Tia and her mother will conduct her own Kidnapping as a means to make Shivaay believe that Tia did not leave willingly in fact she was taken from the OM before the wedding could even occur so if you look at it in this sense, without knowing the truth of Tia, it is absolutely normal for Shivaay to have the viewpoint that it was never Tia's fault that she wasn't at the wedding, therefore it makes his argument against Tia attempting to sabotage and ruin his reputation or even his families reputation pretty much null and void! So him forgiving Tia or saving her is a situation that is just instinctive upon face value because according to him it was never Tia's fault! So why should she be blamed for something she appearingly hasn't done 'a sin she hasn't committed' types, he would obviously see it as unfair to Tia is he carried on his relationship with Anika who he hates at the moment, SO Until he discovers Tia's truth and the fact that Anika never had a physical relationship with Daksh, he won't be able to see Anika for who she is nor will he be able to accept her as his life partner!

How to explain Shivaay's behaviour?

His brothers and Mallika have said it many times. Annika affects him. SHe makes him feel things. Extremes of everything, happiness, sympathy, empathy, caring, guilt, ..love. He is his best and worst self with her. And he hates that. He doesn't want to feel it. He is this, brain in the front seat, dil in the backseat kind of guy.

Still , while defending himself to his angry family, he doesn't say, I hurt because Tia ran away! He says, his company stocks will fall, business partners will stray and losses will be incurred. Whatever he feels about being jilted by Tia, it is the business deal that is the main outcome of this marriage. He doesn't love Tia at all.

But while Annika is forced to live as Bahu by Dadi, she will adjust accordingly, because that is what she does. With Sahil by her side, she is strong. She has Dadi, Rudra, Omkara, Prinku and Soumya by her side. Jhanvi is a fair person, so she won't be mean. Pinky will mirror Shivaay's behaviour, but will actively take Tia's side.

Imagining Annika with Daksh really messed with Shivaay's head. He is punishing her with his jealousy, and she doesn't even know what she did. I dont' think it will come out until Daksh unleashes his crazy in a big hungama.. possibly by kidnapping Annika and hurting her. Then I'm sure he will realize his folly.

He's a Big spoilt arrogant brat with borderline obsessive personality.😆

She has his trust by default cuz she has the only three things that matter to Shivaay. Naam, khoon and khandaan. Just wait for it...his world is gonna turn upside down when his khandaani friends Tia & Daksh reveal their true colours/are exposed. Well, that maybe a bit of an exaggeration...but it will be the first solid laath to Gadha Singh Oberoi's naam, khoon & khandaan theory. 😆 It's pretty clear that he'll be left shattered by his khandaani frandz at the end of all this, and with zero respect left (from his family and Annika). Now I'm glad that they showed Mallika as his ex-girlfriend. At least he had one khandaani friend who was decent. 🤣 Phew! He still has a tiny bit of credibility left...

A little insight to Shivvay about Tia and Me about Shivvay since you asked. Sorry it is a long post, I apologize

The dufus is prejudiced about Khoon, Khandan and Naam. So anyone with those things can never be wrong, deceitful or greedy for money. That is why Tia has his complete and unquestionable confidence. Till someone rips off that veil he has around his brain about the KKN nonsense, he is going to be walking around with his head in the air and nose at a 90 degree angle feeling absolutely positive that he is correct about it. Tia has proven time and again that Annika is wrong, impulsive and most importantly obsessed with Shivvay. So now he has it in his head that she brings up any and all evidence against Tia to break up his commitment to Tia. Tia very cleverly created these situations and lowered Annika's credibility in Shivvay's eyes because she saw that Annika was gaining his confidence. What Daksh did was wipe out his very high respect for Annika. Shivvay is not as mad about the ONS as he is about Annika doing it for money. He had her on a pedestal because she was the only girl (middle class) that he met who was independent, strong and did not care a rats tail' about money.Daksh saying that she did it for money is what has hit him hard. He feels that she has played him for a fool and broken his trust in her.

Credibility, Respect and Trust - All three are important as they are the basis for any relationship to blossom - marriage or friendship.

Shivvay has been like a volcano waiting to erupt at Annika since the ONS and unfortunately that is what happened on his wedding day. He was furious that she had the nerve to call him immoral.

Me on Shivvay:

There was once a man named Shivvay and now there are 2 or more living inside this miserable beast. He knew who he was, what he believed in and had his prejudices about the lower class were confirmed time and again by all the people he could 'shut up' with money. Then he met Annika. To his immense frustration she was stubborn as a mule. She would not conform to his prejudice, was not intimidated by his power or money, would not break or bend no matter what he did and could not be bought. Proving her wrong became an obsession and she began to consume his days and nights. Every time he thought he had won she would rise up and 'check mate' him. She had no power, wealth or status to back her in her fight and yet she would inevitably win the battle. His 'other Shivvay' who was hidden all these years awakened to her existence. He was intrigued; spell bound and adored her for those very same qualities till they were very recently very rudely taken away.

That Annika makes him face up to the ugly side in him that needs to change. He does not like that she thinks of him anything but perfect and points out his flaws. After all she is lower in status and society. She gets to that part of him that he prefers to ignore and that Om tries to awaken but fails. He hates that he is changing and that she is the one causing these unwanted changes.
Right now all he needs is any justification to prove her less than him. That will make him less attracted to her and keep him from changing to gain her approval. Just like he wanted her to accept his 'blank cheque' and when she did he was happy that he was right about her - middle class stereotypes according to him. Thinking she is immoral and greedy is unconscious defense to hate her and justify his boorish actions towards her.

Just my analysis and point of view, I may be wrong.

I did not write about Annika as you must already know that Om has the highest respect and regard for her. That itself speaks volumes considering this is Om.
