The insanity of indian shows

I have never made a post after watching any episode of any show let alone ishbaaaz. But today i just couldn't control it.i am sure a lot of people are going to show their dissatisfaction with this episode but i feelit's no longer about the show. I have been an ardent viewer of ishqbaaaz for a while and there have been some questionable episodes in the show which i have, for the most part, overlooked, but today it was something else.something like this is horrifying to watch.it demeans women in the most gruesome manner.you don't even have to be a feminist to see that.i watched the episode with my mom and i felt humiliated and disgusted.what are the makers of the show trying to potray?that you have the right to throw people around, toss them up,blackmail them just because you are angry with them.and on top of that the woman just bears it all.women are some mahanatmayein who have been put on this earth to endure the cruelty of men,who are here just to be dealt according to the whims and fancies of men.😡
I don't even think its just fictional. Its not.sometime back there was a newspaper report about this girl being kidnapped by a guy who was inspired by shahrukh khan's character in Darr.can we now say with utmost surety that the entertainment industry is just for entertainment. That it doesn't have any impact on our lives.on top of that such tracks are promoted endlessly on social media as if they are worthy of winning a Nobel prize.
And ishqbaaz as a show has a lot more female viewership than male viewership.do the writers or makers feel that the female audience would love seeing something like this?

Is it even acceptable?on the one hand we have these women empowerment movies that are trying to make an effort to change peoples' mindsets while on the other hand we have such regressive and shameful television showsEven if this is for trps then also its like selling the importance and respect of women for it.

I haven't dared to watch ib episodes from quite some days maybe a week or two but even reading about today's epi was making me cringe and I am feeling like I would vomit because of the mentality of the makers and how the hell did they dared to show such thing on tv

Now I want another hero for Anika cuz Shivaay is not less than a criminal. ACP bhi chalega. D worse thing is Nakul get best actors award at AVTA Awards for such a role. He sud get negative role award not actor's.

I wonder how star plus agreed to air this kind of content ... If in any serial this kind of stuff is show, the only excuse should be to show in later episodes that the person is taken to task... But here Anika will eventually live this relationship ... I mean after so much how can u still live with such person and love him... There is a limit to show anger ... If it crosses the limit the future of the relationship is irreversible damaged... Yesterday's episode was more like savadhan India than ishqbaaz ... I think Gul can better contribute to stuff like fifty shades of grey... Very disappointed in star plus than anything else

Totally agree. Negative treatment and words are always painful and in my life I will never fall for a person like that..however good they might turn out to be..Things done, cant be erased.
SSO, you have crossed all limits. There will be no pity or sympathy..These type of content only provokes people in negative angle.

Agree! 👍🏼 The romanticizing of physical and emotional abuse can impact and influence impressionable young people.

Seriously!
This is the worst thing to propagate and specially when they want all their shows to move in the direction of 'nayi soch'.doesn't star plus review any of their shows before airing them?or this nayi soch tag line was just to lure in the audience and then humiliate them with such crap.out of all the unlimited options they could choose from, the makers decide to show abuse to get two people married.a normal reaction would have been to cut anika's salary or ask her to leave the venue if shivay had to misunderstand her. But no he had to vent out all his anger and throw her from one place to another as if she had commited the crime of the millennium.

I personally dont have any problem with jerky characters like Shivaye being the lead on a show. My only problem is how can u show a self respecting girl like Anika falling for a jerk like Shivaye who has threatened, molested, humiliated, manhandled and tortured her so many times. In real life a guy like Shivaye will land in jail but as it's a Gul show she will show her mahanta and forgive him. And the saddest part is majority of people watching this shit are females. I seriously dont understand what these girls enjoy watching these tracks. Maybe they enjoy the opposite gender being shown as a devil and their gender as complete angel. I cant think of any other reason why they enjoy this crap.
