Rudra is a really complex character and that's why I like him. He appears at the start as the most "in you face" and easy to decode character but he is not. That is what I love about him. Soumya? She is just as opinionated and don't mince your words as I always was and will be I guess! LOL.I have put many a player in their place in my time! 😆 So I relate to her totally. Soumya is no bechari and a victim. But she is layered with her tragic past of losing her brother. No one sleeps on a bed of roses, but your life does not have to be a bed of thorns either. THAT is what I like about Soumya's character. She is well balanced.
I am happy you like the piece and as a couple Rudra and Soumya really balance each other. They have strengths and weaknesses that together will give them stability. This marriage will make Rudra grow up and Soumya face her reality. She does have feelings for Rudra, but even she doesn't know what they are. I remember that scene when he said "sometimes we think it's the end, and it's just a new beginning". She thought he was talking of them. Rudra and her. But he was talking of Riyaan and her. Her face fell for 1 second before she composed her expression and you know she was thinking Rudra was talking of himself. It's subtle little scenes like that, that got me interested in them.
Anyway, I hope this story gives me a chance to explore MY version of them and hope you end up loving them as much as I do!
