Playing Devil's advocate for a bit...not that Shivaay's actions today can be condoned...inaction is sometimes as bad as committing the crime in question.

But just pausing to think of how Shivaay is as a character in general...completely struggles to express his emotions unless it comes to his brothers...he will go about doing whatever he thinks is apt in a crisis moment without consulting with anyone...he's used to operating on his own, per his judgement.

Anika anyways short circuits his mind and heart in general so he's in a sense more disabled than usual...Daksh's situation has sent him into more of a tailspin than ever...now it's not just about him losing Anika but also about some guy exploiting Anika...perhaps it's too much for his already confused mind to process so his knee jerk reaction only is to get Anika out of the house.

Right now his SILENCE is causing the most amount of confusion...he's gone absolutely silent and the only way he reacts is via actions...forcing Anika to leave the house to get her away from Daksh, tomorrow he's probably smashing that plate in anger but not really telling Anika or himself why he's REALLY upset...so that continues to be anyone's guess...and most people will logically think it's cuz he believed the worst of Anika...but it could just be his usual inability to articulate or express what he really wants to so whatever little he expresses is only more confusing and leaves room for wild speculations😆

I myself believe that Shivaay won't allow ponytail to colour his judgment (the segments can be misleading and are grossly disappointing). But Yeah if they try to show that Shivaay is an Ishqbaaz because he will marry Annika despite the 'ONS and money MU' then *facepalm* followed by my chappal being thrown at the TV😆

With all his faults Shivvay does have some common sense to be able to read his friends intentions with respect to Annika. I know, being a man the testosterone kicks in first at the sight of the girl you desire with another man and worse still when you see her in a 'bad light'. The breaking of the glass plate proves him as a 'Drama King' as someone rightly called him in another post, I am sorry I forget who it was.
But once that blood from the eyes that is clouding the judgement has subsided I am sure Shivvay is going to think a little more logically. Once this beast called jealousy and doubt is controlled only then can the heart take over and feel. In Shivvay's case both are very necessary right now so I am liking that someone, even if it is Daksh, is goading that beast to rise up and do something. Shivvay has been a dormant and inactive volcano long enough. As Rudra pointed out some episodes ago, Annika had managed to tame him.Point - tame him not domesticate him. There is a big difference between the two.
Shivvay needs to open that cage and let the real Shivvay out now. Enough of Mr. Nice Guy - it is time to be true to his name 'Shivvay Singh Oberoi'. It is obvious to him that Daksh has unholy intentions but to take it in a defeatist attitude is not in Shivvay's nature. His basic and primal nature under that well cut Armani suit, calm exterior and the immaculate hair is that of an 'Alpha Male' and we all know thanks to National Geographic that when challenged by another what the 'Alpha Male' is capable of. I think we have as very interesting week ahead of us and I am banking on the CV's keeping him true to his character when provoked. We saw a glimpse of the old SSO today and so did Annika to her amazement. He has opened the cage and is pacing at the door waiting for the slightest reason possible to get out.

As for his opinion about the ONS I would like to give him the benefit of doubt for now before I rip him into pieces. Lets see what this week brings. I did see a very calm Shivvay at the wedding spoiler and I know he would not have been if he thought that the ONS did happen. We would have at least see him sneer with a look of disgust at Annika if he truly believed it because she would have proven him right about 'middle class girls'.

I think he is going to calm down a bit later and process in that handsome head of his all the cold and basic facts before him.

This kind of behavior is not Annika - This is the same girl he tried time and again to buy off with money when she refused to be intimidated by him.She slapped the bundle of $$ on his handsome face outside the temple, refused to beg for the catering contract, did not succumb to his pressure even when he was huffing and puffing her house down like the 'big bad wolf' he was then.
The same proud girl who refused to be beaten by him and literally threw his 'blank cheque' back in his face. She proved him wrong when she did cash it but spent it on his wedding. He had not even asked for those kind of sleazy favours when he wrote that cheque.
Throughout her work period at the OM she never asked or expected more than what she earned through her hard work even though she could very well have asked Dadi for it. She refused without the slightest hesitation the 'solitaries' gifted to her by Tia.There is not a single shred of evidence to prove that Annika would do something that cheap just for money. So why start now?
Unfortunate for Daksh and fortunate for Shivvay, both in respect to their obsession, that one did not try to get to know the real Annika while the other one has been doing just that for the past few months.
Besides I think Dadi will mention about the loan that Annika had asked Shakti for and Annika might tell her that Daksh offered to give her the loan. There could also be the chance that Soumya happens to thank Annika for staying the night with her just as Annika is leaving. Lots of possibilities.
If it is not bride/groom swap then causing MU between Shivika right now defeats that purpose. Shivvay is not going to marry Annika if he believes she spent the night with Daksh - I mean we all know he is pretty old fashioned about certain things. But if Shivvay has stumbled upon Daksh's true maniacal nature just before the wedding then it is possible he will try to protect Annika. But what if he has no solid proof to back the statement? Will she believe him? Will she take his advise? Does his opinion even matter to her anymore?
I guess that is the part of the clip we saw on the wedding day. It is clear he is looking at Annika with fear for her future and is battling what he should do himself.

So if I was to keep that in mind...that this guy struggled for AGES to say a simple "thank you" to Anika...still hasn't reached the point where he will go ballistic to defend her honor...what's holding him back? We can only guess...his conversation with Daksh today was a mixed bag...he starts off with shock at Daksh implying that Anika will spend the night with him since they are engaged...his first protest is that they are merely engaged, not married...almost as if he is consoling himself with that...ki abhi baat puri nahi hui😆...when Daksh further goes on to reveal his intentions, Shivaay is furious and disgusted...and says as much to Daksh...but again, he doesn't go the distance of punching Daksh...why? Because again and again it comes back to him saying, "I know Anika...woh aisi nahin hai"...and Daksh throws him a googly saying that he won't force Anika, it will all be mutual...to which Shivaay would have liked to say, "Like hell it would be mutual...Anika sirf meri hai😆"...but he can't...cuz he is yet to admit that truth to himself.

Since Shivaay didn't feel emboldened enough to punch Daksh and shut him up just yet, the next logical route should have been to atleast tell Anika...but he couldn't do that either...cuz Anika is giving him SOLID silent treatment...so he feels more helplessly frustrated and confused...more hesitant to actually talk about this with her directly...

Shivaay ke bahut issues hain.😆...he doesn't do anything typically heroic in general...a typical hero by now would have punched the villain and rescued the damsel in distress...lekin Shivaay ko har cheez karne mein bahut time lagta hai😆
