But now Anika's engagement makes that impossible. Now he has to face his feelings and actually deal his emotions as well worry about her upcoming wedding😆...good going Anika😆

He might try, but he can't ignore it for long. Everything is crashing down around him so it will be interesting to see how he reacts to all this.

And now we have pride and EGO in the mix on top of everything...as if Shivaay's ego alone wasn't enough to jhelo...now there's Anika's ego and a total shutdown of communication between them.

Is this shaadi really going to manage to happen before Nov. end at this rate?😆

Exactly what a pair. Pride, ego, and poor decision making skills. Same to same 😆

I can wait to see what happens after the wedding. I can picture them fighting just so they can have an excuse to talk to each other 😆

Completely agree with you.

I just made another post where I mentioned this. I had hoped that Anika had given it some considerable thought and had made a conscious decision to marry Daksh (whetever may be her justification for it). But it didn;t appear that that was the case. It clearly looked like she accepted Daksh's proposal because she was upset with Shivaay... 🤔

That's the way it seems now. She recalled his words and his interference didn't help matters.

I am 100% sure he is not, Shivaaye may have made one wrong decision to chose Tia who was bad, but then she was never close to his heart, she was a business deal and he hardly cared on how she was, but Daksh is very close to Shivaaye. Daksh might only slightly less (if not equally) part of his existence as OmRu, so there is no way that Shivaaye wouldn't have recognized Daksh if he were a jerk

They are just giving some fake suspicion around him.

Now coming to Anika, I don't understand how is her decision wrong (I mean not for Shivika sake, but in a normal sense), she is definitely 25+ (or else she would have slightly objected Rumya calling her didi), but has never thought of marriage as she has Sahil to take care of, but that doesn't mean that she wants to live like that forever, now she is getting a guy who is ready to accept her with all her responsibilities (which is very difficult to find as guys expect that the girls should forget about her parents family after marriage and focus with him), the guy whom she loves thinks her to be cheap and gold digger (at least she thinks so) and has no trust on her, so what is she supposed to do, wait for the guy to realize his mistake and then come back to her? I mean come on will you like her accepting a guy for whom she had become a backup option, who might have loved her but did not trust her? Or shall she become a Sanyasini (read career woman) and never marry, I have no problem with the girl who decides to never marry for her career or for her love, but remain unmarried for her love for a guy who insulted her and did not trust her, there can be nothing worse.

So I feel she has done the right thing at this time

I didn't say he was the stalker. I referred to him as some creep who keeps proposing to her. We don't know what his motives are, but personally he seems creepy to me.

I can't speak for others, but my problem with her decision is because it doesn't make sense with her character. She doesn't care what people think of her, fights her own battles, and lives her life freely. This is the same character that boldly proclaimed she spent an entire night with a man knowing exactly what people would assume. We are supposed to believe someone like her would randomly agree to marry a stranger? Why? Because someone said mean words about her?

Good or bad he is still a random stranger that she is not only inviting into her life, but her brothers as well. She doesn't know anything about him other than his name, profession, and that he has the Oberoi seal of approval. The problem I have with this is just because the Oberois say he's a good guy that automatically makes him good? Putting aside their obvious problems they aren't exactly a good judge of character. She should know better considering everything she experienced and seeing Tia playing her little games with the whole family now.

No one agrees to marry a random man because he claims to love you or because the person you have feelings for doesn't respect you. That is stupid and dangerous. Why she should let what someone else thinks about her dictate her life? She was fine all this time before she met him and his family. Why can't she go back to living her life instead agreeing to marry someone she doesn't even know. I don't think she should live alone, but she shouldn't take the first offer that comes her way. This is Prinku behavior, not Anika who hasn't been sheltered or locked away from the real world. She should be less trusting and more cautious with strangers especially now that she has been attacked several times.

I don't really mind the way the story is progressing because finally something is happening.

I think the drama is actually valid here, even if it over the top and a little too close to the bone. I'm not enjoying it, mind you, but I blame superlative acting for that reaction. Nakul made me start the show today going "Yeah! yeah! she'd just not that into you, Mo&^*%FU*&^% suck it!" and ended with me howling like a child, begging Gul to HELP HIM, trying to keep the snot and the tears separate as my disgusted husband watched. But its crucial, I think for the Daksh role to play out here.

For Anika, I want her to enjoy the feeling of being openly wanted, for once. For her to have a (temporary, apparently) say in who she ends up with, even if her choice was made ..um...REALLY stupidly. But hey, he's handsome, charming, carries diamond rings around. Its important for her to have a little bit of a romance from a guy who is really into her. And if he is an obsessive guy, she doesn't know it yet. Those pleasant discoveries are still pending, and when they come, they should be greeted with a stern application of Chameli.

But on the SSO front-- Daksh being equal to SSO in all that khoon khandan crap, and still having whisked his girl from under his nose is delicious karma sauce. Exactly what Om and Rudra have been telling him has happened, in a spectacularly public manner, and his secret, hidden little obsession he couldn't put a name to has thrown back the covers and revealed itself to be full blown, devastating, unrequited love. And now, he will act irrationally,, stupdily, like a maniac. The guy so in control he needs a valium to express his mild interest-- its important for the moron of the year, mainly, to LOSE his mind. I hate the whole She is damsel! In a dress! Must rescue crap Gul will pull. HATE the regressive crap. But at the same time--

The creepy part of Daksh is the burning force that Shivaay will need, to act. He is dangerous. In a fire, you grab what is valuable to you. You don't reach for your luxuries, you reach for your family. You don't care about how you look to the outside world. You save yourself, you manhandle your woman/man out the door, break open a window if you need to. Fires reveal what is valuable to you, and you certainly do everything possible to save your loved one--even at your expense/life, and damn the world. That's instinct. And so...Daksh is here, to set fire to Shivaay's whole world, and see if pure panic, loss and devastation makes Shivaay see what is truly important.

We will see what he will choose save in the blaze of his dreams--his luxury of his ideals, or the heart of his beloved
.

... and besides it is the 21st century and a girl is allowed to break off her engagement if she wants to without causing a social scandal. So no problem there if Annika decides (we know she dos not but for arguments sake) to do so.

Ohhh! and I am so enjoying watching him 'squirm like a worm' right now. He put both his feet in his mouth and is finding it very hard to chew 🤣🤣

well someone needed to give this slow child who was being handled with kid gloves by OmRu a 'jump start' to pull him out of his inactive haze so why not Daksh to do the honors😆

btw .. I don't know if I was the only one who noticed this but then I overthink most scenes .. weird that way .. sorry 😆
The first parallel:
When Om recited his poetry we had Robin very visible in the background listening intently and of course with his permanent scowl. If you think about it he is in a worse situation than Shivvay. He has had to bear with Tia hanging around Shivvay for longer than Shivvay has had to see Annika hang around Daksh.
Robin too needs his heart to be true to itself and make a stand for his woman ( Mrs. Kapoor can take a flying one ) just like Shivvay needs to take a stand for his woman. I think that man is reaching the end of his patience as well.
And the second parallel:
When Dadi asked Annika all those questions Somya was in the background. It was as though she was being asked those questions too because she could identify what poor Annika was feeling. That girl is miserable as well.

I feel this Angst was needed but the execution is pathetic. This third wheel in Shivika relationship was needed to start Shivaay ke dimaag ke wheels 😊 Aur kisiki toh sun nahi raha tha woh.. Khud ki bhi nahi 😆
But This deadline that Shivika need to be married in November forced Daksh to fall in love and propose in 3-4 meeting which just makes this so irritating and not fun at all. 😭
