I wish they showed that Anika was a strong girl but alas- this show is going the typical Indian show route.

Ek bande me tumhari burayi ki toh u decide to marry someone else - how progressive and original ;)

Its possible like you said out it could be out anger. Her thinking " you may think I'm not good enough, but look your childhood friend from the same social class does and wants to marry me." Or it might be a combination of the stalker and anger/hurt feelings.

Its still weird because he said worse to her face. It's not like she doesn't know what he thinks of her. Just a couple episodes ago she repeated all his words back at him. It doesn't make sense for her to agree to marry a complete stranger because of him or out of angry.

I guess we'll see what happens soon. I'm really curious how this wedding will happen.
