Anika thinks about Oberois as a family. She is just helping them and trying to expose a person who has some dirty motives against Shivaay which indirectly will affect the whole family.

Shivaay on the other hand is not completely wrong as not just once all the times the circumstances spoke volumes that Tia is not wrong. It was anika''s bad luck that every time her plan back fired or should I say that she is such a naive girl that Tia knows it beforehand what Anika is up-to.

If I were in anika's place I wouldn't care what Shivaay says to me. Knowing one's real self i'll go to any extent to expose the person.

A criminal also leaves something that can go against him/her for once so look for that chance.

I agree that Shivaay had begun to place Anika on a pedestal. There has been a softness and gentleness in him towards her lately, when he had begun to see her as a person and not merely an irritant to be tolerated because it is Dadi's wish. You could also see the burgeoning of something akin to almost admiration in him. That here was someone, who despite all that he perceived as drawbacks in life of not having khoon, khandaan etc, still lived her life with self respect and a certain joie de vivre which was beyond his comprehension.

Where his family is concerned, he had begun to see her as someone who could be trusted to look out for them with a care that was nearly at par with his. And that is what took a hit today. That belief he had. As we have seen in his reaction many times before, he blames himself first when anything goes wrong with his family members. His sense of familial duty and above all his sense of sibling duty is almost what defines him to himself. More than her, he is berating himself for allowing himself to trust someone else where his family are concerned. That's why we see him not going ballistic, because most of the anger is inwardly directed. He had lowered his guard. He expected someone else to look out for his brother as he himself would. Ergo, it's first his own fault in his mind before it's Annika's. It was he who assumed she would understand the gravity of the situation without an explanation just because of that very pedestal he had put her on.

Right now, for Annika, the thing uppermost in her mind is to expose Tia's truth. Her own sense of right and wrong is outraged by what she sees as Tia's duplicity. The fact that it is being perpetrated against someone she cares about makes it even more odious for her. So, you can see why she goes on and on about it.

As you have both said, she's human. She's fallible. Always being in sync with the mood and the situation around you is impossible. Sometimes the goings on in your own head overtakes everything else. She was not to know of Om's past, and just why Shivaay was so adamant that she make sure Om was not to be left on his own. I really liked the measured way she spoke her mind to Shivaay.

They are both different in their outlooks, but very similar in their values. It is that which would make Shivika work. By complementing each other. By enhancing the positives and softening the negatives in the other.

She was thinking about him because he doesn't think about himself. She genuinely wanted to help him. He is disappointed because he let her in and trusted her with his family but she was too busy focusing on Tia. She didn't know all the facts and didn't like her intentions manipulated into something else so she was angry. It's natural that both of them put up their walls again.

It was interesting that this time it was a conversation and not fight like in the past.
