Out in The streets

Omkara was 10. He was out in the streets for the first time, alone without telling his family. He wanted to explore. Suddenly it started raining and as he tried to find shelter somewhere, he noticed kids his age running into the local ground with a football. The ground was covered in ankle deep mud but the kids ran bare foot into it fighting for the ball.Some of them were in vests others half naked but they were all covered in mud in a matter of seconds. Om stared at his sneaker and t-shirt. Then shaking his head he threw away his sneakers and shirt and ran into the crowd. Later he will never forget the feel of wet mud on his bare feet, the rain on his skin and the smell of dirt.
