Dumb Anika & Shivaay

I know I am going to get a lot of hate for this post but I just have to rant this out.

So you know a person who is doing something wrong. You want to tell everyone that they are doing something wrong. What is the last thing you should do?Of course not yell your plan in front of them and make them be super cautious about their next step.

Anika today was dumb AF as she did exactly what she shouldn't do.

She made a spectacular presentation in front of Tia that she knew that there is someone with the name initial D who she is cheating on Shivaay with.

At first when she made Shivaay realise that Tia had a gift which he hasn't gifted her, I was like 'YOU GO GIRL, SO CLEVER!'. Subtle hints that's how you do it.

And then she went all Raita failow on it by doing the D thing. Instead of scaring Tia that she might tell Shivaay everything, she just made her super cautious.

She might think that Tia is dumb but of course she is not. She is fooling Shivaay who is air quoting it 'A successful businessman' who do not have enough resources to background check his future wife or his wedding planner for that matter. I really find it weird that even though he is so curious about her, Shivaay hasn't made any effort to find out why Anika doesnot use a surname

I am sorry I didn't mean to offend anyone. I am true Shivikaian and I ship them to the moon & back. Also I love Anika, she is the reason I began watching the show.

So no I don't hate them. I just hate how the makers are making our 'ACHHI WALI CHANT LADKI ' look so dumb.

Although I religiously believe that Shivaay is dumb AF. Seriously he is a businessman, he out of all the people should know that 'IF SOMETHING IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE '.

I don't think I disagree at all with you here..
In fact, i agree with you for the most part.
I have for the time being resigned myself to the fact that in our dramas, vamps are conveniently created as clever at will, and the leads are conveniently dumbed down for the purposes of the plot.
It's NOT a clever or a new device, just an ill-used dramatic one which has become conventional.
So, yeah, anika and shivaay have both been dumbed down for the purpose of creating an angsty clever villainy track where eventually and finally, the leads will be proven right and the cheating vamp be destroyed.
Stereotyping at its best, yes.
I had thought anika would be smart, subtle like she was being, but i quickly lost that hope :/

Well, this ALWAYS happens in all Indian soaps. The villians are extra-clever and leads are extra-dumb (for lack of better term). You won't get any hate for stating facts!

SSO is 'oblivious' to all Tia's wrong doings and SSOO makes it 'obvious' that she suspects Tia, so they balance out each other 😉

yeah, i was expecting some subtlety from anika, she is so in you face about it, its gonna blow up in her face and her and shivaay will have a massive fight or something, probz worse then the whole dev-priyanka one, after all a storm is coming.plus im thinking, is the jealousy track gonna happen when tia is still there or after the whole blow up and tia is gone. so shivaay feels extra bad after finding out the truth about tia but the new entry being beside anika is gonna just be rubbing it in his face. so guess maybe thats why they are making anika like this. also he may have done a background check but doesnt know about the affair . but at least shivika will progress and isnt going to remain stagnant, lol its 120+ ep already.

Same here. I hoped for a smart FL and was not so disappointed till now. They have to make her do the dumbest of things for maximum drama. *sigh* too much to expect from a daily soap FL.

No bashing at all ur right. Both characters are being dumb currently, how can Anika think Tia is that easy to crack I wish she was shown to be more smart in this case.

Well, I think many ppl already now this but this entire track is getting on my nerves...why can;t they just reveal Mr.D already and get n with Tia's exit so that ShivIka track can go ahead.

Couldn't have said better,...they both are truly made for each other, by all means 😆
