If... and that is a BIG IF the media does hound and slander Annika he will step up and force a marriage. Of Course he is too proud to admit HER reputation matters so he will say it needs to be done to save HIS family's reputation.

There is a possibility of him announcing that she is the future daughter-in-law to shut people up at which point I do not think Annika would be able to refute that statement. I mean this is ,like I said, not the Victorian Age and spending a night at her place with Sahil and Bua there is not something people would make a big deal about but we all know the media when it comes to celebrities - they are ruthless and blood thirsty

Now there's obvisouly going to be a few hours gap between when Shivaay went to meet Gayatri and when Anika left the Oberoi Mansion and in those few hours everyone (Tia, Om, etc) would ve interacted with both of them and known they are not together - yet the phone would say they were... making the phone unreliable evidence...

I hope the show uses this much logic atleast...

Also this stupid lie can easily be disproven because of phone tracking and the fact that Shivay was clearly nit at Annika's home the whole time phone was. Stupidity to extreme. Her best bet is to tell truth about phone.

All this being said, i do wonder if he realized that Annika may have been leading Dev out. He kept pondering and his face seemed pensive and like he knew he effed up. But even if he figures it out i think he may say, accha hai.. for the best. Possibility of this is low I know. But just a thought.

The one way I can see this happening is *if* on his way to Gayatri Shivay realizes he doesn't have his phone and somehow figures out itbk is with Annika and goes to retrieve it. That time around when he comes to.get it and leaves is estimated time of death.

But this is a stretch because he was turned around when she picked up phone and didn't realize apparently that he didn't have his phone for almost a day.

Anyway, just hoping Annika's character isn't made to go the route we are all dreading.
