And to answer your question, going by normal mortals standards, No! There can be no excuse that should make Anika come back to the Oberoi mansion. But we all know it'll happen and the excuse will be that Anika owes Oberoi's money and hence no choice but to come back to work for them.

On a serious note...Gul is seriously out of ideas and it is only a matter of time before this production house sees the downward slide.

Anyways we , the audience, knows the truth. Shivaay doesn't. And he was lied to.

She was being protective of Priyanka and might have been wrong or foolish in not revealing the truth of her innocence.

He feels hugely let down and he lashes out from a feeling of betrayal and hurt. His views on family and lineage might be unpalatable to many, but that's him .It defines his personality. When Anika intervened earlier on behalf of Priyanka, he had cared enough to explain his stand pretty calmly. He had expressly forbidden any Prinku-Dev meeting. Moreover everyone in the family including Tej, Daadi and Om are'nt in favour of the alliance. So one can understand where that anger and hurt is coming from.

Do i want him to grovel?. No ,I'd find it uncharacteristic of him to go around looking for opportunities to say sorry especially if she ignores him. Btw are'nt the old Sorry's and Thank You's still pending or is it my memory playing tricks😆

"There are lines you don't cross" ,"We are on different sides of the line that divides us" were his words yesterday. But we know that one day these lines will blur for him. And he is going to accept as his partner someone without a surname , family and lineage and everything that he holds dear now. I,for one ,am looking forward to that journey towards redemption . It can be made beautiful if handled creatively. 😃
