Hey guys..

I am a silent reader of this forum... yet after watching tonight's episode I needed to vent out some vibes...as I am absolutely confused by character assassination of Anika ... I might have got a different perspective...my apologies in advance

why is Anika so dumbfounded is beyond me... yesterday she was shell shocked to hear Shivaye marrying the next day... she is fumbling with words, the non stop motor mouth is short of words...

NO shivaye its NoT okay to call a person road trash... what kind of human being are you that you treat another human like a vermin, the lowest insect whom your eyes cant even see... you might be angry/pissed/ or whatever class shit mood swing you had going on... You shouldn't have repeated those words... road trash... this shows your character is no different, no development since the initial episodes... you are still stuck in trash zone...

but its not SHivaye that hurt me the most its ANika... what is she doing... she has no response whatsoever to being called a trash... has she accepted that, because Shivaye is getting married to someone she shouldn't have an ounce of self respect... is this what "love" about... losing respect... what could have been a powerful response was simply washed away in the OOO jana BG, i mean come on... who the hell has a BG moment when the other person just bashed you left right and center... SHivaye is conflicted in trash zone...but Anika taking this BS with puppy eyes is just killing her character... she was the one woman army... yet today she was zombied out... to GOD knows what reason... how can she roam around hugging His sherwani, she should have atleast thrown some kind of reaction... her hurt expressions looked confused as she wasn't sure should she be upset about trash comment or because Stone Singh Oberoi is getting married...

i know i might be over reacting, but when the show themselves had projected a strong woman agenda, they shouldn't degrade woman to such level... the scenes should connect properly... after intense insult scene, one cannot switch to OOO janaa in a blink of eye...

He's called Annika road side trash before... He told his sister that she shouldn't bring trash to the home as it belongs in the streets. He said this in front of the whole family. Annika being strong that she is, did not say anything back then. She left the house in pain but never broke down. She carried that pain home to have her Aunty chuck her out & verbally abuse her too! She still didn't break down. She only broke down when sahil's chocolate got ruined. She cried her eyes out, alone on the streets. Annika reacted the same as she did in the beginning. She's used to bad luck & having a hard life!
Her tear scene shows that unknowingly she has someone sort of attachment with him...trust me, I had work experience at a office 1 day a week for 6 weeks & cried on my last day as I got used to them and enjoyed my time there! Perfectly normal :)

She was more hurt when he said it the first time...
This time she's hurt but showing a stand that she doesn't care.
She will probably break down alone later
