I think this is all building up to Shivaay finding out about Anika background. Anika wouldn't show any emotions infront of him at all she doesn't cry or ever show her weakness infront of anyone is what I like about her character.

Shivaay was damn mean in the precap he will bring her back to reality that she's not his standard and when he confess to her she should reject him and remain him she's not his standard. (Just a wishful thinking but I'm sure this wouldn't happened :/
