All of you, behind my back, and even straight to my face, mock my beliefs of universe, positive vibes and reikis. Even the Dumbell Oberoi calls me dumb, ha! But what about you, Shivaay? You are refusing for Ganpati Bisarjan because you accuse God of not helping you. How is that reasonable? While I get where you're coming from, I can't overlook the utter contrariness in your behavior. And what is more fascinating is everyone is trying to convince you, all in vain- but no one speaks about the foolishness in your conduct. Because it's you, Shivaay Baby. Because why not blame the circumstances instead. You grew up this way. Do you still fail to see the irony here?

And here enters Anika, Oberoi's hero in shining armor, always here to save the day- who has in fact saved everyone's life twice- Anika, who stands with you, Shivaay and in return, shows you the ground you stand upon. The fierce and brave and badass Anika. Hundred times better than Lady Baba- Rudra's Anika Didi. Don't you think I know how Omkara roots for you two? Daadi's favorit-est Anika.

Who am I? Tia Kapoor. Soon to be the daughter-in-law of the Oberoi family. Look at me- I stand in room full of people who should by now consider me a part of family; smooth down the creases and make me feel home so that I can make it my own. Why, you ask? Because I'm not Anika. I don't know how to get on with people- I don't have her humor or exuberance. But who says I'm not capable of loving you people as much as she can. Anika and me- we're two different people and we can't be the same. She has seen the hardships of life and overcome them with her strength. But I have grown up this way, pampered and 'dumb'. Why do you all fail to see these circumstances of mine? Why does no one try to understand where I'm coming from and always considers me superficial? There's an excuse for Shivaay being the way he is. There's an excuse for Omkara being the outright contradictory person that he is. There's an excuse for Rudra's child like antics. But not me. Because Tia Kapoor is not a family. Heck, she cannot be even Anika.

Why does everyone fail to see that I am the one who's getting married to Shivaay? Scratch that, why does no one bat an eye to my situation and refuse the knowledge of what I'd feel being sidelined in my soon-to-be husband's life?

And Anika, she now follows Shivaay to her room. Honestly, I wouldn't even blame Anika here. Because she isn't even a family. And she doesn't refuse you, Daadi. But like everyone else, she believes that she is the only one who can make him see sense.

Where do I fit in here?

I don't belong here. Even the Universe hints at it. Because Anika never goes wrong, Because she's a wonderful person, a very brave person at heart. Because she stands up for herself. Because as everyone believes, she is Shivaay's equal, who can stand beside him and not be overshadowed. A woman of substance, you'd say.

But why don't you see the goodness we can possess? It's not always that you lose everything and hence life is hard. Why not the other way around?

Yeah because, a person who believes in fanatic things like aura cleansing and reikis is to be ridiculed and wrote off as someone dumb and less intelligent. Because how much good you people think you are, you don't deserve this Tia Kapoor, who you all laugh at and never uncover the person within.
