Simple: Because it had been Om's battle, at that moment, and for Om and the brothers, the matter is done with. Furthermore, her intention had been to hurt him - she didn't get the chance to do any more harm, let alone put his life or health in real danger otherwise, Shivaay wouldn't have spared her.

Why would Shivaay then bring her back? Someone who wanted to harm his brother, actually broke his brother's trust and insulted his family? Character butchering. Period. As I said, bring her back however you like but don't ruin other characters for this purpose.

It might have been Om's battle, but it was clear as daylight that Ishaana's words made an impact on both Shivaay and Rudra,

For Shivaay, people are commodities. I still maintain, that Shivaay would knowingly hire her because he can make use of her and that's all that would matter to a businessman. Better the enemy you know, then the enemy you don't. He doesn't need to trust her. He isn't getting Ishaana married to his brother. He would be using her as means to achieve an end.

I don't believe it would be character butchering. I think it would align perfectly with his characterisation as a ruthless, manipulative businessman.

They say Jodis are made in heaven in television its in writers hands. If they choose ishana for Om there has to be some reason.I dont understand how can you say she doesn't deserve Om ? No one is perfect in this world that doesn't mean they dont deserve love.If that's the case then shivay doesn't deserve Anika and jahnavi doesn't deserve tej.Saying ishana doesn't deserve Om is way too harsh. She isn't given much time nor good story line. Now since they are rewriting their story hope they give good ishkara track and I dont want any new ishana. This ishana is perfectly fine only good track is needed.

Hi Sneha!

I think out of all the characters on this show, I relate most to Shivaay. I agree with most of his ideologies, as rigid as they are, and I know that if I were in his position, I would go to the ends of the earth to hurt the person who intended harm on someone I loved.

My point is that, he didn't.

Shivaay let's Ishaana go, despite everything that she has done to their family. He obviously doesn't do this out of sympathy for her, nor does he remotely care about her, but what she does say to them, hits him hard.

I don't think he would interact with her because he likes her. I think that for a while, he won't be able to tolerate her, but nevertheless I can picture him hiring her simply because she already knows enough about their family and probably because he has leverage over her to make her do it.

Most likely, he would hold a gun to her head (figuratively of course) and force her to do his bidding. I can easily see him holding the car swindling incident over her head to get Ishaana to work for him. Again, not because he likes her, but because he is opportunistic and he knows how to use people.

I think he let her go because it wasn't his battle, thus not his decision. It was Omkara's. If it were Anika in her place, and she had fooled him, he would have taken his revenge. Like we saw him do with her in the beginning. As much as he loves his brothers, he doesn't interfere in the way they choose to deal with people, be it Omkara or Rudra. We've always seen him support them, even if he chides them for being in the wrong. That's actually a quality I admire in Shivaay. He has rigid principles, but he doesn't expect everyone to follow his path. Something, in my opinion, that is lacking in Omkara. As much as Omkara is compassionate, I feel he's more narrow minded than Shivaay, because for him, the line between right and wrong is impermeable.

Sure, I don't disagree entirely. It would be one good option, way better than the 'revenge nonsense' they've got planned at least. Should he have to bring her back, he would keep her as far as possible from Omkara, and make sure he had adequate amount of leverage over her. 😉

I love Ishaana, but I'd rather she enter their lives as someone who doesn't necessarily want to be there, but circumstances push her through. Like they have to deal with her on a daily basis whether they like it or not, rather than having her comeback for some revenge/angst drama. I want to see her totally indifferent and Omkara falling for her. Though knowing the CVs, that isn't going to happen. So oh well. 😆

I am very angry with the CVs Divya, and if this time they don't write a good story I will be very very angry. Screen space doesn't matter much for me as CVs messed up the scenes.

And I am possessive about Om, so I want best for Om. I don't care about other jodis

I dont know about this theory of Shivaay hiring Ishaana to do some job?it may or may not be happen

But if it does i don't see Shivaay'c character getting ruined. There are quite a few people in the serial who have harmed his family but he hasn't done anything much to them.Sevtlanta,Roop bua ,Gayatri to name a few.Anika was the only exception whose life he wanted to destroy but that was done for obvious reason's.

Except for Anika which character has Shivaay wanted to or worked towards destroying who have harmed his family?None.

So ya i don't think its highly out if character if he does hire Ishaana.I mean Svet has been working for the company for years he hasn't fired her or worked towards throwing her out of the company.

AND THE WAY PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT CHARACTER RUINING.. Thank you! It was so obvious that both Shivaay and Rudra were hit hard by her words. Om is living in a delusion. Honestly, he is the one character that I have major issues with. I don't like him. How can one person be so naive and idealistic? It baffles me.

Seriously though, it wouldn't matter if it was Om's battle because Shivaay is an exacting man. Om said his piece, but Shivaay wouldn't let Ishaana get away with it, unless he was impacted by what she said. And he was. She had him stunned and speechless, because he knows that she is telling the truth. Unlike Om, he understands the harsh reality of the world - that people lie and cheat to get the job done, it's how the world works. He doesn't sympathise with her or trust her - he understands her. I don't see how this could be character butchering.

Looking for logic in an Indian drama is like searching for a needle in a stack of needles. The whole Annika as their wedding planner, didn't make sense to me either, but since it is the popular pairing, of course people will laud it.
