I just realized this...mallika once said that in her relationship with shivaay she could never have her say...he was the one who made the decisions.
Isn't that true for sidharth and mallika's relationship too...because not only in case of her profession but her opinions weren't given importance in case of marriage preparations too.

Mallika also had said that siddharth loves her truly...but does he really? where is the love?he never noticed the issues plaguing mallika's mind,he never stood up for her,he didn't give importance to her work.
Didn't she say that shivaay was very encouraging about her work.

what are they trying to show?

also mallika is too mild for the ranas, for siddharth and for shivaay too...i liked her initially but this is my overall impression of her now...she runs away from situations, cries too much..it is no wonder that she never had her say with shivaay, siddharth or his mom.

i think sid gives her attention which shivay didn't but sid doesn't have much of a backbone against his mum which was the issue

that was a very dumb way to show women empowerment It would be more highlighted if she didn't ran away instead fought back and then came to Oberois for help instead of shelter

Yes I agree. Sidhant was attentive maybe

But Sid seemed like a mama's boy to me and his mother was overly dominating in his affairs

Whereas Shivaye is his own man

Well pinky can't dominate him an inch. The poor lady can't even get hi, to set a wedding date 😆

I guess she did say that though he loves her and respects her work but he couldn't understand her issues about her work and priority issues not because he didn't care or couldn't speak in front of his mother but because he was raised in a certain way where his own mother told him that women have a limited role to play .
He didn't ignore those issues deliberately , he just couldn't get them. Like the way she said, " bachpan se hi jab aapko sikhya jaata hai ki tum heera ho, ladke hi important hote hai " .

And if we talk about her equation with Shivaay, they were great friends but there was no love in between them. And with Siddharth, they both love each other but in a relationship you always face some issues or other, because everyone has a different thought process. These two relationships were completely different .

Running away is not the solution but then everyone has a way to deal with circumstances and not everyone is perfect and takes ideal decisions in every situations ...who are we to judge

Yeah.
I find mallikas character weak. She is not good enough for shivaay or even ranas
Well ranas are awesome. Especially the senior ranas
