Making it short, I loved Ishana yesterday after Om uttered that 'parvarish' thing. She was true to her character. C'mon she wasn't justifying her doings iin the second half as she lashed out on Om- she told things as the way anyone would have perceived (if they'd research on Oberoi family). And Shivaay and Rudra were affected- and that means, they knew somewhere it hit home and it had truths in them. She was just ruthless and brought the Oberoi family down? Isn't that what we expected? She did add she knew who she was and she didn't regret that. Minus the crying part at last, Ishana was in her element.

This is what happens in Indian soaps with multiple lead cast. When one is shown to be good and morally uptight- we suddenly can't digest the other one who isn't as good as her in our conventional ways.
Personally, I find Shivaay and Ishana both on the same level of grey-ness if that counts.

And yes, I was surprised at Vrushy's performance yesterday, in a good way. I didn't know she could act that good. Well!

And honestly, the intensity and passion is right here. IshKara. And good or bad, beyond redemption or butchered, maybe a very stupid con-woman- I like Ishana's character.

That is my point!
Om pointed fingers at her family and the way she has been brought up. So she just showed him the mirror, that if my family isn't good, then what about your family? With what right are you pointing fingers at my family, when your family is full of people who try to cheat others?
She is a con, but who will allow fingers to be pointed at your family? Some people need to be accepted with flaws..and with the hope that they will grow outta these flaws, because nobody is perfect!

Grey characters will never be done well in Indian TV. While a particular fraction of audience might welcome it, lot of us refuse to look beyond our notions of right and wrong. Plus, IB has heroines who hold their moral grounds strong- so that maybe the reason why we got yesterday's scene the way it was- to make the viewers sympathize which they obviously didn't! That's a huge mistake on the writer's part. Other than that I think we got a bit of true Ishana minus the majboori thing. And the lashing out on each other- c'mon people, they were arguing. Everyone says anything in heat of the moment. No comments there.

I love Omkara and I haven't loved any TV character more than him. But I don't get why people think Ishana doesn't deserve Omkara. Why not the other way around? Omkara has his flaws and practically, he would be a more difficult person to deal with.

That said, dudeee if IshKara are done well, they'd be such a FIRE. They've got passion man! While I love Bhaiyya-Bhabhi only a tiny bit less than IshKara, they don't give me the feels. They are rather endearing as a couple.

But IshKara are something else.

and c'mon I don't understand why people think Riddhima is better than Ishana so Om should be with Riddhima argument? What the faraq logic. 😕 Dude, then why do you think Tia should not be with Shivaay? you should rather ship Tia and Bhaiyya together.

Don't compare Ishana and Shivay dear.
Only men like Shivay or an Arnav for that matter are allowed to be dark and gray with bad pasts that somehow absolves them of all wrongdoings. The moment its a woman then there are limits placed on her. She should not do that or say this, she has no right to her opinion and she should never ever even dream of taking on the most beloved male lead(I LOVE OMKARA) because who the hell is she to speak to him in that manner? Arnav can twist Khushi's wrist and talk about her 'aukat' all the time, Shivay can manhandle and judge Anika but the moment a woman with similar gray shades speaks her mind - She's wrong! She's so so so wrong.

I swear to God.
I was extremely disappointed with Khushi. She snapped Arnav only once and we were all 'go sherni' and her aggression just died out and we got a poor excuse of redemption. Even with all the things Arnav did to her, almost all the fans (including me) were ready to forgive him. Sigh.

Cv's have dared to showcase a character who isn't their usual mahaan heroine and now they can't execute. The main reason for this is the viewers themselves. I have been reading all the posts and comments related to yesterday's episode and I must say- forget grey, we cannot even bring ourselves to appreciate a heroine who isn't the epitome of mahaan-ness. Even a tiny flaw is a big deal.

Btw, I truly believe IshKara have the potential. They give the same feels Arnav-Khushi used to give.
But...yeah. With this outrage of people and poor execution on the part of the writers (and upar seh pehle hi kitna kam screenspace milta hain Ishkara ko), I think this will be the usual Gul-show.
Whom were we kidding anyways!

I read the reply of one of the writer of IB and she thanked someone for noticing that characterization of Shivay-Ishana have similarities and on the other hand Om-Anika have similar values. Nice that they are doing this. May be building ground for AniKara and IshShiv equation.

Oh god! I remember that. I was also amongst the fans all ready to forgive Arnav and see their love story unfold(What a love story it was or rather what chemistry)
He did some really bad things and even let her fall from his balcony office and we were all mad but just for some time. But now that we have a WOMAN who is nowhere close to being perfect or a 'good girl' and isn't ashamed to accept who she is, everyone starts crying like she's out to kill Om. Her past, present or anything doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that she's hurt Omkara while giving him a reality check. The double standards and hypocrisy is appalling.

Ishkara do have the potential man. I mean till now I felt it was just the characters of Om and Ishana that were full of potential and would be great if done well but yesterday I saw the great chemistry as well. Just so damn good! But I honestly think its better if we keep our expectations low because we all know how gul's shows function. She usually has only one sizzling couple. But they have tried here to get three of them but I don't know if she would be able to pull it off and lets not even talk about the screen space. A lot of it is wasted too on senseless Bua and Sahil scenes 🥱
