Now coming the update, I have no words, absolutely no words for this gem of a chapter!
A storm brews outside even as another tumults inside our two stubborn protagonists. The darkness and harsh eery blowing of winds, the tremors that shake the nature today are all but symbolic to the inner tornado that whirls silently within the two of them. Though of course, they'll never accept that. Partly because they are both in denial and partly because they are both unaware as of yet...
Anika's response to Shivaay's high handedness was just perfect! I could imagine every second of that scene. The smirk on Shivaay's face. The shock, the outrage and sheer disbelief on Anika's. It hit all the right notes without going into any melodrama. Bravo, my friend!
And now coming to the hottest moment...oh man! I love you for that! It was so perfect! Finally, the iron bound discipline of the great Shivaay Singh Oberoi snapped! Finally, he became aware of the hurricane brewing within him. One that had been silently destroying all his shields without him being none the wiser... I have a feeling that this kiss won't be so easily dismissed like the first one. Especially by him. Probably because he wasn't alone in his madness. Anika was right there with him. Matching him in passion, just as equally desperate...
He may create more excuses for his behavior for old habits die hard, and shields that have been formed by a lifetime of harsh lessons, don't break or weaken overnight. But I have a feeling that more than anything else, more than his own actions and helplessness, its Anika's response to his touch that will haunt him...
And that phone! Gah, I curse you Graham Bell! Why the hell did you go and invent it!! Let me guess? Its OmRu isn't it? Spying on the lovebirds?!
