Hi everyone!
Up for some fun discussion?
Even though most of us are still very divided regarding our preferences for the various Ishqbaaz characters, no one can deny that all the characters on this show are unique and interesting in their own way.
To better understand these characters, we can try to apply the Myers-Briggs Personality Test (MBTI).
I'm sure most of you are already aware of the study and how the test works, but for those who aren't, you can read all about it at: http://www.16personalities.com/
Better yet, take the test for yourself at: https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test
Basically, you do a test that takes about 10 minutes and you get a very thorough response, detailing your dominant characteristics. It sorts you out into 1 of the 16 potential personality types. I strongly believe that this test is very insightful, and in fact, in several countries, it is becoming a requirement by some universities for predicting suitability for particular degrees and courses.
Personally, mine is outrageously accurate. Everyone that I've known, who has done the test has agreed that it is very precise.
Followers of many popular Western shows have been researching and sorting their favourite characters into personality types according to their character traits. As a writer, this offers valuable insight into the ways characters think and behave.
On another thread, some of us have been typing Ishqbaaz characters, but we would also encourage input from anyone and everyone. The more heads, the better!
My typology for the characters:
Leads
Shivaay: ESTJ
Anika: ESTP
Omkara: INFP
Ishaana: ENFP
Rudra: ESFP
Saumya: ENFJ
Secondary Characters
Daadi: ENFP
Tej: ENTJ
Jhanvi: ISFP
Shakti: ISTJ
Pinky: ESFJ
Priyanka: ISFJ
Please share your ideas. Feel free to agree, disagree! I would love to hear all your thoughts. You don't have to type all of them - maybe just the characters you like, understand or relate to.
You might also share which MBTI personality you are. It would be very interesting to see which personality types are dominant in this forum! Maybe, we can discover some trends.
Looking forward to healthy discussion,
Paridhi
