Shivaay was quickly coming out from his office.His secretary tried to explain to him that his next meeting was very important but for shivaay nothing was more important than picking up his special person and today he could not be late because first of all he promised her and also today was very special day.He told his secretary to cancel the meeting.He sat in the car and drove quickly.His car stopped infront of the school.He came out of the car and smiled when his daughter came running towards him.He picked her up in his arms.
Anshi(Frowning):Dad you are 5 minutes late.
Shivaay (Made her sit on the car seat): I'm really sorry my princess.I was stuck in the traffic.
Anshi(narrowed her blue eyes): I will only forgive you if mummy will forgive you.
Shivaay(Nodded): Ok fine.I will ask forgiveness from your mother and I'm sure she will forgive her handsome husband.Now stop making weird faces.Your mother will be upset seeing you like this.You don't want to make her upset on mother's day.
Anshi: Ok.But you have to promise me you will say sorry to her.
Shivaay: I promise (And thought in his head)Her attitude is exactly like her mother.
Shivaay drove the car.He stopped the car infront of the flower shop.Both of them get down from the car and went inside the shop.They brought red roses.Anshi as usual was bargaining with the shopkeeper.
Shivaay(Sighed and smiled):She inherited this trait from her mother.
Shivaay just quickly gave the money to the shopkeeper and took anshi outside.They sat in the car and shivaay started the car.Anshi started telling him about how she spent her day at school.She kept on talking.Shivaay was listening to her while thinking that his daughter only got his blue eyes and good mathematical skills except that she was exactly like her mother.Even her smile reminded him of her.He stopped the car infront of the graveyard.Shivaay controlled his emotions because he had to stay strong for his daughter.They went towards anika's grave.
Flashback(Two and a half years back):
It was cloudy day.Anika had learned to drive a car.She wanted to show shivaay her driving.
Anika(Making innocent face): Shivaay lets go.Anshi is sleeping.We will be back in less than 30 minutes.
Shivaay gave up looking at her innocent face.Both of them in the car and anika was driving the car.
Anika(With wide smile):See I have learnt driving in just a week.If I can bear mr shivaay singh oberoi then I can do anything.
Shivaay(Teasingly):If its so much hard to bear me then should I find someone else?
Anika(Hit him):Don't u dare think about any other woman.I will always stay with you even if I die.
Shivaay(Frowned):Stop talking non sense and plz slow down the car.
Anika was trying to slow down the car but brakes were not working.
Anika(Panicked):Shivaay brakes are not working.
Shivaay(Shocked):what??
Suddenly a truck came infront of the car,Shivaay turned the car.It got hit with the tree.His head hit the dashboard while anika's body hit the windscreen.After sometime shivaay opened his eyes.
Shivaay(Whispered): Anika..
Flashback over
He came to now that siddharth vikram rana was behind the failed car breaks.That guy got his punishment.But still he was unable to forget anika's lifeless body covered with blood.Shivaay and anshi reached at anika's grave.
Anshi(Put red roses on her grave): Happy mother's day mummy.I'm sure you will be happy to know that I have got highest marks in today's maths test and you know what dad was five minutes late today
She looked at shivaay as if telling him to ask forgiveness from anika.Shivaay bent on his knees and asked forgiveness from anika.
Shivaay: Now are you happy?
Anshi(Gave wide smile): Yes
Her smile reminded him of anika.He hugged her tightly and closed his eyes.He could feel anika's presence near him.He was sure that she would be happy looking at them.Even though he was controlling but still one tear dropped from his eye.He remembered her saying.
I will always stay with you even if I die.
