hand pulling symbolisation

Hi Everyone

I am new to this show but I am already hooked to see how the 3 cousins' relationships are going to be developed.

I know lots of people were rightfully upset about the level of subtle and not so subtle violence Shivaay is showing towards Anika. I am not going to get into that as there are already many topics being opened on that on this forum.

I am instead going to talk about what that hand pulling incident yesterday symbolized and how it showed the viewers the future relationship between Anika and Shivaay.

Shivaay pulled her hand and knowingly gave her as much pain as he could to see how long it will take for him to break Anika. He didn't care that she was suffering and was only cared about hurting as much as he thinks she has hurt him and his family.

Anika on the other hand stood there hurting silently but only to a point. The second she reached her breaking point and she felt Shivaay has crossed the boundaries, she bit him back and took him by surprise.

I think we are going to see in the next few weeks/months that Shivaay is going to continue to hurt and destroy Anika as much as possible. Anika herself will take the punishment and suffer because of her love for her brother (and we viewers will rightly feel angry towards Shivaay and show producers). But then Shivaay will do something extremely ill advised and cross the line (probably use her brother and the custody case) and Anika will say enough is enough. She will fight back at a time Shivaay would think he has won and broken her and when he would least expect a fight back. The surprise attach from Anika will be her weapon and she will gain advantage in this war between them.

I hope I haven't bored you guys to tears and I would love to hear your thoughts on this 😃
