He was pacing. Yes, he was pacing around and around the room. While his brothers were sitting aside - one on the couch with his sunsilk smoot and straight hair just freshly conditioned and the other on the floor watching his older brother do merry-go-round about the room. Yes, they were Omkara (the oldest sibling) and Rudra (the youngest sibling).
Rudra - Bade Bhaiyya. Why is Chote Bhaiyya going round and about ?? Agar merry-go-round jaana hii hai tho amusement park chakte hai na. Sar ghoom raha hai mera.
Omi - Pata nahi. Lagta hai kii kuch dhund raha hai
Rudra (naughtily) - Kahi, Anika ne kuch chod tho nahi dii 😉 You know, as a nishaan.. Hmm Hmm. (Signature wriggling eyebrows)
Omi gave a smile and flipped his hair away from his face. Rudra could be such a naughty brat at times. But then that was what everyone adored about him. Shivaay was still pacing around.
Omi : Kya hua Shivaay ? Why are you pacing around ??
Shivaay : I put Priyanka's phone somewhere but I don't remember where.
Rudra : Kahi phek tho nahi dia usko 😆
Shivaay : Shut up Rudra 🥱
Omi : Rudra !! Enough.. Chal, let's search..
The trio went in different directions about the room. Rudra was near the pool area when he noticed something blank in the water. He took a closer look and saw that it had a hole that resembled a camera hole at the back with an 'M' written below it.
Rudra (thinking) : Kya ho sakta hai yeh ?? Kahi kuch galat cheez tho nahi hai !!
He took a long pick-stick that was standing happily against the wall content that it was dry not knowing that it was going to be thrown into the water and get twisted by none other than the very mischievous Rudra Oberoi. He thrust the stick into the water and caught the black thing. He pulled it out and examined it closely. Oh, so it had a shiny screen in the front and two buttons on the side. Waawww !! Wait a minute. Wasn't this how a phone was supposed to look ?? 😕 He looked at the poor phone that was fully drenched in water and imagined poor Priyanka's disaster once she came to know about it. Omi came to Rudra and tapped him on the arm. He turned along with the phone. Omi gave a look of surprise. Damn !!! He should have thought of this.. Put Shivaay, a mobile and a pool together and after few minutes you find either the phone or Shivaay or in few rare cases, both of them in the pool 😆 When they were kids, Omi had tried hard to make Shivaay let go off this habit but all in vain. He whisked the phone out from Rudra's hand and both walked to Shivaay who was searching under the pillow covers now.
Omi : Ahem Ahem..
Rudra : Cough Cough
Shivaay : What ???
Omi raised his hand with the phone up in the air with a mocking face while Rudra looked smug. Shivaay's eyes slightly widened.
Shivaay : How did you ??
Omi and Rudra : In the pool..
Shivaay : Oh. Is it working ?
Omi : Shivaay.. What do you expect ?? The poor thing has been in the water since lsat night. Agar ek minute keliye paani me girta tho hii kharaab ho jaata hai. Ye bechari tho puri raat paani ki andar thi.. Kaisi zinda rahegi ??
Shivaay gave an expression of a person who when tries to speak let a huge gust of air out. There was knock on the door and before anyone could say anything, someone entered. It was Priyanka. Her eyes went from one brother from another and then to her phone that lay dead in Omi's hands.
She let out a scream..
Priyanka : Bawawawwawaaa !!!! 😭 😭 😭 😭 My phone !! 😭 My pyaara sa phone. Ye aapne kya kia Bhaiyya !!! 😡
Shivaay : I am sorry Priyanka.
Priyanka : Kya sorry !!! 😡 Ghussa sabko aati hai. Iska matlab ye nahi kii aap Kajal Agarwal ban jaao har baar 😡 😡

Omi and Rudra burst out laughing at this ultimate weird comparision while Shivaay looked ouch hurt.
Shivaay : Haww !! Tumne mujhe ek ladki ke saath compare kia Isse bura haal mera kya ho sakta hai 😭 Mei tumhe ek naya phone dilaata hu 😳 Mujhe ladki ke saath compare mat karna 😳
Priyanka : Bhaiyya. Ye phone meine last week hii li thi. Paani me girte girte mera sim bhi kharaab ho gaya hoga 😡
Rudra : Are Behna, fikar not 😎 Chote Bhaiyya tumhe IPhone 6S dila denge..
Shivaay looked at Rudra like he had grown horns and Priyanka had stopped crying, half the anger already gone. Omi stiffled a smile that was trying to escape his perfect lips ☺️ He saw that his Baby Brother was handling the situation really well. Shivaay strolled to Rudra and tugged.
Shivaay : Ye kya kar rahe ho tum ?
Rudra : Bhaiyya, aapka help. Soch lo. Ladkiyo se comparing ya seeing Priyanka happy and get this chapter closed ?
Realization dawned and Shivaay straightened up.
Shivaay : Priyanka, I'll get you an IPhone 6S but stop comparing me to heroines 😳
Priyanka : How do I believe you ?
Shivaay switched on his laptop and ordered IPhone 6S from Flipkart. He sgowed it to Priyanka.
Shivaay : Ab tho stop comparing me with Kajal Agarwal 😳
Priyanka : Kajal ?? Kajal who ?? 😲 Mei kisi Kajal ko nahi jaanti. Mei tho TV hii nahi dekhti. Ok. I am leaving..

Rudra closed his mouth and huffed. What kind of people were they ?? Dnt even want to gain knowledge on something inventive. Omi rolled his eyes and looked away.
Shivaay : Can't you get me a mobile phone ?
Omi : As it happens, there are no mobile phones available since we are bankrupt of them.
Shivaay : Whay ??
Omi : Jsut becoz a certain someone doesn't know how to keep his thick skull in control of his anger.
Omi flashed a narrow look at Shivaay who looked a bit guilty but it was gone.
Shivaay : How did all the phones go ?
Rudra : Oh that ?? Well, here it goes. You broke Maa's phone just becoz one of the deals meeting got delayed by 15 minutes. You broke Chachi's phone just becoz someone put a slide wrong in one of the presentations. You broke mine and Bade Bhaiyya's phone two-in-one over some dispute with your manager. How in the sense, while you were talking, you threw Bade Bhaiyya's phone down and it broke and mine, you threw it our of the window. A dog took it and went away
Shivaay's lips formed a round 'O'. He slowly took the landline and called the police regarding the chip. The police had said that the chip had leaked. Anger coursed through Shivaay's eyes. His hands were shaking.
Rudra : Bade Bhaiyya/ I think humaari landline ki zindahi ki anth honewali hai. Dnt u think ?
Omi : Lagta tho aisa hii hai..
Shivaay put the reciever away and before wither of them could stop him, he lifted the phone and threw it on the ground.
Omi put his palm to his forehead cursing Shivaay and his fat anger-filled skull whie Rudra sat beside the phone, took one of its pieces..
Rudra : You have served us very well.. Now rest in peace.. RIP.. 😭
