FOR ONCE
It was one of those tiring days when Anika felt every drop of energy being drained out of her. On one side she had to call a devil for an aunt whose found an equally corrupt ally in a police officer to torture her. On the other side where her life's various problems. She needed to save up a lot if she needed to escape from the despicable woman she was forced to call her aunt.This was proving tougher and tougher for her , what with the rising prices of things needed for daily life.
Walking home was proving to be a tough task, that's how drained Anika felt right now. Deciding that she could not face the devil at home , she directed her steps towards a local park. Just a few steps into her new destination for the umpteenth time she collided with none other than
"Shivaay Singh Oberoi" Anika muttered , exasperated with her fate.
"You again" came the arrogant reply "Why is it that I can't walk anywhere without having to face you" irritation dripped from each of his words.
Though she had multiple retorts waiting on the tip of her tongue,Anika felt too exhausted to do even that and hence decided to just walk towards the park.
Shivaay eye brows went up in surprise when he saw the usually bold girl walking away with an exhausted sigh.
"What no retorts today? So you have finally conceded that you can't be equal to me"
Anika stopped in her tracks "Not everything is about you Mr.Oberoi. As I am a human, I think I am allowed to have days where I am plain simple exhausted for anymore drama"
"You too?" the words escaped his mouth before he could filter them.
Now it was Anika's brows that went up "Wow! The Shivaay Singh Oberoi agreeing that he had a bad day. It might just rain today" she smiled.
Shivaay was stumped. Yes he did have a bad day. He had just witnessed a particularly vicious mud slinging fest between his mother and aunt.His uncle had taunted him about a glitch in a project and his now fiance Tia was going on and on about their wedding which he was soon becoming disillusioned about. He had quiet simply gotten out of his home to clear his head and driven aimlessly into this neighborhood.
"You know you do not have tell anyone about it. Why don't you just spend sometime in this nearby park. Just close your eyes and let go of all worries for a while. That's what I am planning to do. It has helped me in the past" saying this Anika proceeded towards the park.
For once , Shivaay Singh Oberoi decided not to argue and decided to follow her steps. As to why he was doing this, he could not explain it to himself.

I have stayed away from writing scene for quiet a while. This is my first average attempt at a Shivaay - Anika scene , in which they are civil to each other (or more like Anika is).
