Just for the information, In Islam, it's not allowed to change your name after marriage. The girl is asked to keep her original surname. Her husband's surname/lineage has nothing to do with her lineage. She has to be known by her own father/forefathers name. There are rulings attached to her being named after her father...inheritance, spending, etc.

Moreover, she may get divorced, or her husband may die, and she may have to marry again...will she keep on changing her surname??!!

Yeah I actually know that as my ammi, dadi or anyone never changed their names

But sometimes dubara akika karte hay iss vaje se

I mean meri khala ne apna name akika deke change kia I don't know why

I don't like it

But it's a tv serial they'll alternate somethings or other

What can we do?
