Says Mrinalini who put up a bold avatar in ALTBalaji's Gandii Baat recently, "Work on Ishq Mein Marjawan happened instantly and I was asked to start shoot. I like my look; I have been given the typical CBI officer look with suits and trousers. Upasana Malik will be a smart officer. She will be into a serious scene in the lock-up and in the very next scene, she will come out of the cell and will play around with Viraat. The character will also get into a light-hearted zone whenever she is with Viraat.

Mrinalini who is known for her acting chops in Pavitra Rishta feels that there is lot of scope in the character. "The role is very different and there is a lot to play with in the role. I do not know the duration of the track, but I am confident of having a good screen presence till I am there in the show.
