Ch 4.

Vansh gets ready to go to the hospital after taking some rest. He walks past the dressing table where he notices a photo frame of Riddhima, with a pretty smile adorning her face.He picks it up and carresses it with his thumb. A lone tear falls on it.

"I wont let you leave my side,Sweetheart!!! Tumhari yeh smile main wapas laake rahunga." He promised to himself and went away,keeping the photo frame safely.

He reached the hospital where he was welcomed by Daadi,Sia,Angre,Sejal and Karan. Vansh enquired about Riddhima's health to which Sejal replied that doctors' are doing her final checkup.

He peeped through the glass of the ICU door where he saw the junior doctor trying to check her pulse and finger movements.

Vansh couldnt see his wife in that state. He slumped down and tears fell from his eyes. His heart finally gave in to the fact that he has fallen in love with his wife,Riddhima.. He feels incomplete without her. What would he do without her? Who would tolerate his mood swings? If Daadi and Sia were his heart,Riddhima was his heartbeat. Thoughts crammed his brain.

Everyone present there felt sad seeing Vansh in that broken state. All prayed to Ganpati Bappa for some miracle to happen.

ICU:

After some moments,the vital signs of Riddhima started to beep loudly. Angre was shocked to see this incident. Their wait came to an end when everyone,especially Vansh saw Riddhima coming out from the coma. It felt like,she was sleeping since ages.

"My littol Kumbhkaran!!" Vansh thought,with a small smile.

"Boss... Bhabhi uth rahi hai.." Angrey told in excitement.

Everyone went near Angrey and threw a bag of questions at him.

"Aur kya Angrey beta? Saf saf bata na?" Daadi asked with excitement.

"Bhabhi is perfectly fine and doing well.. Rest lerahi hain woh!!" Angrey replied,smiling back a little.

His Boss and Bhabhi suffered a lot and like a true friend, he wants his Boss's life to be settled down for good. Vansh and Riddhima needed each other badly to heal themselves.

Daadi,Sia,Sejal and Karan thanked Ganpati Bappa for listening to their prayers and curing Riddhima.. They also congratulated Vansh for the victory and also gave him words of courage and patience, as he will need it badly in the following days.

It was a war for him. To save his wife from the clutches of death. And he won the war.

Vansh ran inside the ICU to check on his wife.. By then,her vital signs became normal and was sleeping due to medicine effect.

"Meri biwi kaisi hai Doctor?" Vansh asked with worried tone.

"Mrs.Raisinghania is perfectly fine now. Vitals bhi normal hogaye hai. It was a miracle for everyone. Jaise Bappa ne aap sabki pukar sunli.. Do ek din mein discharge kardenge... Congratulations once again and take care."

Vansh immediately went near a sleeping Riddhima and held her hand. He observed her really carefully. She became pale and thin due to the poison attack and also due to the torture she went through by his rude and harsh behaviour. He placed a sloppy kiss on her palm and wished her to get well soon..

After some hours:

Riddhina woke up with a headache. The nurse notes her vitals. She still was under the medicine effect.

In a slow voice,she asked for her best friend and her Jija. The nurse nodded and went out to bring them.

Except Vansh and Aangre, Karan took Daadi,Sia and Sejal inside. Sia hugged her Bhabhi tightly. Riddhima cried tears of joy feeling her family is complete now.

"Kaisi ho Riddhu?? Ab tabiyat kaisi hai tumhari?" Karan asked with a smile.

"Main acchi hu aur better feel kar rahi hu,Jijz!" Riddhima replied,meekly.

"Tujhe na kas kar thappar marna chahiye!!! Aisi harkat koi karta hai kya??? Kya zarurat thi yeh sab karne keliye???" Sejal asked with angry tears..

"Ab toh main bhalo changi baithi hu na saamne.. Ab rona band kar!! (turning towards Karan) And congratulations.. Aap dono Papa Mumma banne wale ho..." Riddhima wished them replied with a smile.

"Thank you,saali sahiba. Tum jaldi se thik hojao... baad mein tumhe apni behen ke nakhre bhi uthane honge... Main toh bas chill karunga.." Karan replied in return getting smacked from Sejal.

Riddhima smiled looking at them and started crying. Vansh looked at her condition. It was because of him. Angrey kept his hand over his shoulder and encouraged him to keep on trying..

''Mat ro Riddhu.. Abhi aaram karo.. Main Mr. Raisinghania ko andar bhejti hu.." Sejal replied.

At the mere mention of Vansh,she remembered his rude behaviour and how he didnt give her a chance to explain her side...

"Nahi... Koi unhe nahi bulayega yaha.. Please.." Riddhima replied suddenly.

"Kyun?? Kuch hua hai tumdono ke beech?" Karan asked sensing something wrong.

"Woh.. Nahi.. mera matlab... Mujhe abhi rest karna hai aur woh bhi toh tired honge,right?" Riddhima lied although she could feel that Sejal has caught her lie.

"Thik hai.. Abhi rest karo.. Hum baad mein aayenge." Karan said and left the room with Sejal.

Riddhima couldn't control her tears as they slipped from her eyes. She couldn't bear the pain of Vansh's rude behaviour and it hurt her really bad. She was not ready to forgive him so easily.

Meanwhile,Angrey came inside to visit his Bhabhi. He enquired about her health and prayed for her speedy recovery..

Next day:

The doctor came and checked on Riddhima's vitals before giving a final nod to her discharge. He was happy seeing the improvement in her health and said that she can get discharged today. She thanked the doctor.

Everyone was happy to know that she was getting discharged today,especially Vansh and Angre. Only Vansh knew the importance of this last chance as to gain her forgiveness and trust. Angre went ahead to complete the discharge formalities.

Riddhima was brought infront of the main gate in a wheelchair, where the car was parked. She slowly got up and sat inside the car with Sia,who was excited and happy to see her Bhabhi back.

For a moment,she didnt want to enter that home where she was misunderstood by her husband,where she was insulted,but something was stopping her behind.

Vansh and Angre witnessed this and their eyes' welled up. Vansh could feel the level of damage he caused to Riddhima.. He could feel the cry of her broken heart.

Riddhima was welcomed by Daadi,Karan and Sejal. She looked so pale and thin due to the medicines. Daadi took her in a loving hug and prayed for her safety.

"Vansh,beta,Riddhima ko andar le aa!! Itni der rak khara rehna thik nahi hai uske liye!!" Daadi said.

"Par Daadi,aise kais..!!" Riddhima couldn't complete her words.

"Tujhe kamzori hai abhi bhi,beta... Upar se,tum dono ka kamra bhi upar hai,isiliye bolrahi hu.
Chal Vansh!! Usse uthake andar le aa!!" Daadi ordered..

Vansh looked at Riddhima,who in turn,turned her head away.. Vansh could sense how hurt she was. At least,he felt happy that he will carry her till the room.

"Karte hain hum aaj qabool kya keeje,
Ho gayi thi jo humse bhool kya keeje,
Dil keh raha use mayassar kar bhi aao,
Wo jo dabi si aas baaki hai,
Wo jo dabi si aanch baaki hai,
Wo jo dabi si aanch baaki hai.."

He slowly took her in his strong arms and entered the household. All the while,she didnt look at him while his gaze was studying her expressions. He could read those eyes as it was full of pain. She needed to release them or else,it will become more poisonous in future.

They reached their room. He laid her down on the bed,carefully. She adjusted herself on the bed while he pulled the duvet on her and lowered the temperature of the AC.

"Woh.. Kuch chahiye ho toh puch lena!!" Vansh finally spoke,breaking the ice.

She called for Mrs. Bharucha,her nurse.

"Kuch chahiye aapko,beta?" Mrs. Bharucha asked,fondly.

"Mujhe neend aarahi hai.. Just make sure koi mujhe disturb na kare... Okay,aunty?" Riddhima said,not breaking her eye contact with Vansh.

Vansh realised that she meant him not to disturb her. He was hurt but he deserved it,for hurting her.

Mrs. Bharucha understood the problem and left the room with Vansh,as Riddhima went to sleep,as the medicines started its effects.

"Mr. Raisinghania!!" Mrs. Bharucha called Vansh.

"Aap please mujhe Vansh keh sakti hai.. Kahiye!!" Vansh replied politely.

"Riddhima ke baato ka bura mat manna!! She is hurt,thats why,she is talking like this with you.. She will be fine,once you sort it out with her.." Mrs. Bharucha replied with a smile.

Vansh nodded,hopefully.
