I'm watching the second season of Silsila and so far the story has kept me engaged. I love Aneri Vijani as an actress and couldn't be happier with her portrayal of Pari. The surprise package for me was Kunal Jaisingh! His character is mysterious yet alluring.😉 I also like how they've stayed away from the concept of infidelity this season. I know two sisters are going to fall for the same guy, but it's better than watching the ultimate betrayal.
Are any of you watching Silisila?😃

I have watched a bit of season 1 then what happened after that I decided to not watch it 😆

Though I liked the actors in season 1 and season 2 actors sound good as well

So I just started watching Marham, per your suggestion & I like it...

something different . Ofcourse Nouman Aijaz is excellent playing

his part 👍🏼

The young actress playing his daughter is pretty good too

Look forward to your thoughts on this interesting show.

DAZZ, not able to watch any daily show consistently due to hectic schedule. If time permits, i select Patiala babes time slot to watch. The girl who plays the character of Mini is doing excellent job.

Also watched the latest promo of Silsila 2 where in Kunal ( don't know the character name) tells Mishti that he loves her. Well captured scene..

Welcome back to the forum, Mish! 🤗 I'll be back to my usual routine on the forum after the 7th. 😃 I thought the story was quite unique between the contrast of feminist views and a feudal society. The actress who plays Noman's first wife in the drama is also considered to be a popular actress. It's been nostalgic seeing Noman and Vanessa work together again after so many years. 😊 Despite being older now, they still have good chemistry which I appreciate. I haven't watched the last two episodes, as such I need to catch up. 😳

In all honesty, I really haven't been liking Mishti's character in the second season. That's not to say that the actress isn't doing her job, I just don't understand why this character has such an enormous ego. Kunal confessing his feelings to Mishti makes no sense either knowing that she prioritizes her commitment to her fianc beyond everything else. 😕 They finally revealed what had happened to all of the characters from the first season in today's episode. Mouli and Kunal were headed to a medical conference in Bangalore with Ishaan in tow when their plane crashed killing all three on the spot. They showed the same child artists playing the characters of Mishti and Pari at the time of the crash. I honestly feel so bad for Pari! Bearing all those taunts about her mother all these years must've been brutally tough on the poor girl.

I finally caught up with all episodes so far of Marham. This show has

a lot more Urdu phrases than other shows that I have watched so far

I find it a bit bothersome when I can't follow an important dialogue.

And I also fail to understand the level of feudalism in the show.

I found another show, Intezar ...(Mikaal & Sana Javed) interesting.

Liking it so far. It's an older show & has a good story.

Have you watched it?

I too have noticed that the Urdu is pretty staunch in this drama. Some of the dialogues go over my head as well so you're not alone, but I do understand the gist of the scene. If you're stuck anywhere, let me know and I'd be more than happy to help. 😊 I don't understand that level of feudalism either, but I do believe it does exist in those parts of that country. I think the whole point of showing such feudalism is to educate the narrow-minded to broaden their perspectives and to bring them to the realization that they're living in the twenty-first century.

I haven't heard of Intezar, Mish. To be honest, I've only watched a handful of Mikaal's shows. 😳 I was thinking about you just a couple of days ago. Are you following Shaheer Sheikh's new show on Star Plus? I really think you would like his character in this serial - the happy-go-lucky male lead. Viplav was in another league because of Mishal's portrayal of the character, but I do find similarities between Viplav and Abeer. All in all, I think Shaheer is a cutie on the show as is Rhea Sharma - the female lead.
