The Most Awaited Shows of 2018!

Read on to find out which shows are anticipated with bated breath..

After Porus, Sony TV presents yet another magnum opus based on the life of the noble and just king of Avantipur Prithvi Vallabh (Ashish Sharma). He is defeated by the neighbouring king Tailap (Jitin Gulati) and his beautiful sister Mrinalvati (Sonarika Bhadoria) and is held captive. But Prithvi ends up falling for Mrinalvati, following which the show will focus on the incidents preceding Prithvi's imprisonment.

Following the trend of 2017's fresh content', Zee TV's next venture Subhan Allah, starring Eisha Singh, will focus on the sensitive topic of Triple Talaq. Ironically, Eisha Singh made her television debut with a taboo related show Ishq Ka Rang Safed, where she played a widow who falls in love and gets re-married. The show was initially titled as Ishq Pakeezah, but was later renamed to Subhan Allah.

Bepannaah is definitely one of Colors' most awaited shows, courtesy their leading lady Jennifer Winget. Winget, who created a storm in the industry with her stint as the psychotic Maya in Beyhadh, will be seen in an out and out romantic role as Zoya in Bepannah. Said to be loosely inspired from Bollywood cult classic Kati Patang, Bepannah also stars Sehban Azim and Harshad Chopra in lead roles.

All subjects seem to be very interesting.
Hope all these are finite series. I know it takes lot of efforts to go live with a show, so channel and PH tend to extend the shows with extra tracks for TRPs. After all it earns them bread and butter.
Hopefully it will be reasonable stretch wherein the core story is not tampered.

Wishing all the teams super duper success and also best of luck to all the viewers!

Mish, Thanks for finding this article and posting here.

Thanks for sharing, Mish! 🤗 We've been waiting anxiously for Bepanah to begin, but I'm all for watching dear Eishu in her new role. The concept sounds interesting and I hope the writers and the production house will do justice to the show. 😳 When should we expect Eishu's show to begin? 😃

Ami, I have to admit I was partial in posting about just the shows I am keen to watch...😉
The IF article lists a few others too.
Anyway, I am very eager for Prithvi Vallabh. just to watch Ashish Sharma,
an amazingly talented actor 👍🏼 & I did not continue watching Beyhad after the very
beginning. So definitely look forward to Jennifer in Beypannah &
Eisha's comeback show ...Concept looks interesting 😳

I am not really sure if these shows other than PV are finite, Ami. But lately quiet a few shows
seem to be going off air sooner than before.
Lets hope for the best from these shows...❤️

Welcome Dazz 🤗
I hope so too. Indian TV has a history of giving us shows with wonderful concepts
but eventually butcher those stories to suit their business. 😕
Hope these shows do well & stay true to their original concepts...that's what we
the audience wish for in every good show..😛
I think all we know now is that Bepannah should start sometime this month.
The rest, no idea.

Oh, are you watching Porus, Dazz ??
I just started & Laksh is looking really good 👍🏼 ❤️ & sounds super 😉 😆
Having not watched from the start, I am kind of lost about the various characters.
Hopefully watching it more regularly from now should help me figure them out..😳

When i first saw the article in tellybuzz forum, these 3 were the shows which caught my attention. They seem to have a promising story line.. I am all ready to follow Triple Talaq.. Eisha had started off with playing a widow and aftr ETR2, she is all ready to slip into the shoes of another female lead in a quite exceptional story based series .. Eagerly looking forward to seeing her once again..
Jenni is sure to rock and roll in bepannah..😃 if good luck favors them, the show is sure to attract huge attention.. Prithvi Vallabh will be focussing on a historical love story, right?? It has been a long time since i have watched any proper fairytale kinda romantic show 😛

I am eager to watch Mohit also but in which channel will his show come on air??

2018 upcoming shows looks promising.. I wont be able to watch all of them, will have a tough time choosing which one to follow on a regular basis😆

It would have been the best if Mishal had signed for a New Year new daily soap.. Seems like he has no plans to return to the Indian telly world.. Are not any of the PHs approaching him for a good male lead??😕

Mish, I actually haven't gotten around to watching Porus yet. Not enough time and too many shows to choose from these days! 😆 I was so lost when I first watched the show without Laksh that I had to read a summary to understand all of the characters on the show. I don't know how bad it's gotten now that Laksh is Porus. 😳 I will be watching soon enough. Nowadays, the only Indian show I've been following on and off is Laado 2. 😊
