Mishal old IV :

ishal Raheja, one-time telly heartthrob who won his share of fans first in the dark romance Love Story and then the crime saga, Laagi Tujhse Lagan quit television to chase his Bollywood dreams. Even as he waits for his big screen outing to hit the s theatres, Mishal's done episodics.
Your exit from Laagi Tujhse Lagan had fans emailing and calling the channel, media and production houses to get you back on the show. What was your frame of mind then?
.

.
I think I left the show at the right time. The role was too aggressive and somewhere it was affecting me as a person. I couldn't handle so much of aggression around even in a character I was playing. Although, for once I did feel like going back to the show but at that point it didn't have anything to offer.
.
And you never took up any daily soap post that. Why so?
.

.
I don't watch much TV. I'm not keeping away from daily soaps but lack of performance oriented roles is what keeps me away from TV. I have been approached for so many shows, but, I really didn't find anything exciting. Also, taking up a lead role in a show means you'll have to dedicate your time and energy on it, so there has to something substantial for me to take up.
.
How do you find television content now?
.

.
The scenario is certainly improving. I enjoyed doing doing Encounter, Punar Vivah, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Maaharakshak Aaryan. I also had a great time doing Nikhil Advani's tele film Shaadi Vaadi.
.

.
.
When you aren't acting what keeps you busy?

.

.
I've a business to look after " it keeps me occupied. I also enjoy watching movies, gymming, travelling and dancing.

Tfs Sura.
I agree with Mishal ..playing an aggressive character for a long time may harm the person . I watched an IV of Varun Dhawan. He said the same thing and felt the same after doing Badlapur. He said that his personal life was affected badly .

I love the way Mishal keeps himself busy. he seems more like Viplav in real life.

Thanks for sharing, Sura! 😊 I often feel that a finite series with a set plot would probably suit Mishal more in reference to his scope on performance-driven roles. Maybe he'd be open to a show like 24 or AB's Yug? Anything to see him do what he does best. 😉
