I'm not understanding the dynamics in this relationship either. Viplav isn't one to run after money like his grandfather and mother. It isn't in him to coax Dadibua for wealth, so why isn't he speaking up?

Exactly...dadi was the most important person in Viplav's life before...And she is such sweet person and their bonding was also very strong...she is very sweet to Dhani too...Their scenes are always a pleasure to watch...

Something's off between Viplav and Dadibua. I guess we'll find out what in the coming episodes. Viplav and Dadi have the second most beautiful relationship on IKRS. I miss the love and camaraderie between them. Dadi's been majorly sidelined ever since Dadibua's been on the show.

You are so right . It's a torture to the viewer watching the Bahu of the family abused to such an extent.
This is emotional abuse which is worse than physical.

I agree that Vip has resorted to ignore some of this & not speak up strongly in favor of Dhani at least in front of the family. This is not the same Vipu we have come to admire & appreciate so far in the show.
But I also feel Dhani is being too meek, bending down for the family's sake. Remember her moms advice while leaving the ashram--- never disrespect ur elders--- that's her upbringing.
Unless she strongly feels the need to be respected for who she is, the treatment meted out to her will not change. Viplav can only do so much.
Dhani's interests has been only to go along with what the family demands of her & not stand up against the insults thrown at her.
So I think Dhani's education should bring out a significant change in her thought process, develop her self esteem & speak up for herself.
I don't want her to be rude, but strong, confident & proud of herself before she makes her husband proud.

All I can say Dazz...HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER...Cme back to reality!!!🤣
Jokes apart...I m really irked with Vipu that day in the living room when that bua taunted n reminded of Savitri saving her hubby n here she is to kill her hubby...I m angry eith him for not standing n voicing it fiercly n again yesterday the same thing happened he left her n walked away with her to deal the vultures!...im ok with the resturant part cos it was not intentional from him...he saw n he voiced his displeasure immediately, cos its a big thing...i can understand that...!! But leaving her alone to his room is not done!

I am sorry to say this but I not liking this new VIP he knows what happened with dhanni in her first marriage and here her in-laws are doing the same the also has his hand in it by blaming her. I do what her to get thrown out so that she gets her education on her own this can give a big slap on the in-laws faces and VIP a shamed of himself the way he was with his wife

But at restaurant also Viplav cannot be justified...because he knows very well that Dhani will never take any intiative to order food from the menu...So he could've listened to what she had to say about it...Rather than questioning Dhani, why didn't he ask Kamini about giving Dhani the responsibility to order something when she verywell knew that Dhani cannot read??? This is not the Viplav we have seen so far...

Same feelings, I just hope they don't spoil vipus character anymore
