Hey Hammie,
A bit confused regarding the timeline . Technically if I am not mistaken its the same day when Dhani asked Vip to meet him at mandir to clarify their MU which led to the wedding and to the shack. I don't think the couple have spent the night together ie. if my recount is correct . Anyways it does not matter at all.
Life is short . Holding on to the past , a grudge or an angst casts a shadow on today . I'd say learn from it and move ahead. Easier said than done but a very sound mantra.
Having gotten his wish to marry Dhani he wants to take his relationship to the next level which starts with a brief honeymoon in a dilapidated shack . Happy moments Playful moments passionate moments are interrupted by the reality that people are waiting at home . Both head back but not before a stop at a tea stall for refreshments.
( Wanted to share a funny moment here - a couple of us were sitting together to watch the show . the first section was when the two are lying on the charpoy and Vip asks her to kiss him with a beautiful song playing in the background. All of us watching in rapt silence , enjoying the chemistry between the two waiting to see how the kiss goes when a Naagin snake comes below the screen slithering across nearing covering the two . Our trance broken we all laughed at the awkwardness of it all . ) The couple elude a spark and I think Colors has caught its scent hence we are getting these scenes pretty often .
Sitting together sipping tea Dhani notices people staring at her . Her appearance , a lady clad in white with fineries of a married women is fodder to a scandal . Afraid , she begins to hide behind her white swath when Viplav asks her to stop being scared . She is his wife and she has not done anything wrong so why hide . This scene to me was quintessential Viplav and Dhani . Viplav his effervescent and confident nature wanting to see things positively versus Dhani who has such an issue with her self image , unconfident and afraid. I wonder if Dhani was educated would she be so afraid ? Would like to think not . A widow getting remarried is just the first step in repairing that self , trusting her partner and with his help improving oneself is what I would expect from her. Looking for Viplavs love to empower her to move ahead.
Viplav reaches AN and asks Dhani to wait outside till he gets his family to give her a newly wed Welcome . Rushes in to be greeted by all and a guest who incidentally is here for Shallu's rishta. A proud mother Kanak introduces her son and speaks on his behalf on his marital status and how he recently escaped a bad alliance. Dhani standing outside senses that something is wrong walks to the door to overhear Kanak bad mouthing her. She rushes out to be followed by Viplav asking her to stop and come inside. Yet again the very contrast , he wanting to fight and stand up and she wanting to retreat and back off.
The two have a lot to teach and learn from each other. The next phase of their ISHQ has started . Will they be together and will their love withstand.
Apologies Hammie for being late to post. I use my phone the whole day long to follow the forum and like to use my laptop when responding to posts that I like spending time with hence the delay . The one question I did want to ask - HAve you been writing for ISHQ since Day 1 ? I started to follow the show and you only in October. Do you upload all your posts in a site or something for me to read the earlier ones. Do let me know.
By the way I saw that this episode was the highest watched show in UK and by a very large number. You make us proud Hammie.
