Exactly! He is a lawyer and he should know about how to keep the proofs safe, that too whenhe himself didn't handover the CD to Dhaani.

Don't know, maybe because of their fight. Vip must be crying because he lost the case and Dhaani must be crying because Vip got so angry.I think Vip left her near the police station and left fr home, because when Dhaani slapped Trip, Vip wasn't around. and Trip was out of jail, free again.
