Feels great to be back & hope everyone is in the 'white' of health!π
So what a week that was...all the action while I was away!
Just caught all the episodes back to back..
Am actually pleasantly surprised...in fact, very much so!!
Feels really good to be doing the review/analysis this week...the whole week in fact, has surprisingly panned out rather well...
There's LOTS to write home about, really!Is quite a refreshing change to see the entire SUPPORT SYSTEM measuring up to our talented duo...
- The CVs are doing their job, with attention to detail
- The writing is of good quality
- The supporting cast is merging well
- Viplav and Dhani are progressing well on the IKRS journey!
A THUMBS UP to the week that was!ππΌ
So here goes...
The Week started with a BANG!
The Viplav that we had welcomed back with open arms last week seems here to stay! Am truly grateful to the CVs for paying heed to our incessant pleas...Viplav has been a sheer DELIGHT to watch this week!
The efforts invested in Viplav's characterization this week were indeed palpable!

The very first moment where we had left Viplav and Dhani last week...
As Viplav announces to Dhani...in the most HEARTFELT manner - "Jitna vishvas tumhe apney kaaran pe hai, ussey bhi zyada vishwas hume apney pyar pe hai"
Dhani left completely speechless with Viplav's unwavering intent!

Viplav Tripathi, truer words were never spoken...the embodiment of these words is awaiting both you and Dhani!
The moments that followed...the intelligent Viplav in full bloom...as he tries to read between the lines in his conversation with Raj..."Zara dohrana...bhagya aur kundali" Way to go, Viplav Tripathi...this was the intellect we were dying to see!ππΌ
LOVED the fact that there were many such instances when this facet of Viplav's personality was explored rather well this week...
- Viplav's interaction with the pandit on the kundali issue...respects his decision, but makes his own POV known, no matter what!
- Viplav's dynamic with KT - loved the fact that KT is on Viplav's radar...Viplav is slowly but surely growing to be suspicious of his mother's actions!
- Viplav's logical thinking and sound reasoning as to why TP should serve his sentence - his articulation of the same to Dhani was completely bang on!
- Viplav's lawyer like demeanor with the cops including checking the CCTV footage
Just where were you Viplav?? Was missing you badly!
This week had a different story to tell, though...all my grouses of last week have been more than put to rest!π
Viplav Tripathi, you deserve every bit of the effusive praise!
Everything seems to have blended in so SEAMLESSLY this week in Viplav's characterization..
Viplav's EXUBERANCE and PLAYFULLNESS has been absolutely ENDEARING
The EARNEASTNESS in everything that Viplav did...was simply SPOT ON!
With the proverbial cheery - putting MIND to MATTER!

Seems like the CVs have been really working hard this week...
Not just Viplav, Dhani's character sketch seems to be on a continuous upswing too!βοΈ
- LOVED, absolutely LOVED how Dhani gave it back to KT "Jiske paas vakil babu jaise saathi ho, use kisi bahari khusboo ki kya zaroorat??" This for me EPITOMISES what a long way Dhani has come...how much ViDha's love for each other has EMPOWERED Dhani...
To be able to "MAKE A STATEMENT" - So Simple YET so Impactful!
This for me is the true CONFESSION of Viplav and Dhani's love for each other!
- Really liked how Dhani took on the menacing village mob out to ravage Suvarna...this EMPOWERED Dhani, what a far cry from the helpless Dhani at the mercy of the madding crowd not so long ago...outside Tarini Vidhwa Ashram...outside the Shiv Temple
Both the times, Dhani's Vakil Babu to her rescue
Will his absence this time around mark a new chapter in their lives?? Was asking myself this question!
- Last but definitely not the least, completely ADORE the new found RADIANCE and GLOW in Dhani...she smiles more often...Dhani's smile reaching her eyes...her conversations with Viplav...Dhani seems to be truly opening up!π
This piece would obviously be incomplete without a special appreciation for Eisha Singh...
You are the reason Dhani is BLOOMING, and how!

Would like to elaborate on the current MU track that is being played out before I move on to my highlights of the week..
This obviously is my take only...would love to know everybody's thoughts as well...
- Am pleasantly surprised at the way in which this track is being entwined with the journey of the leads - this track is so much BETTER than the torture of the previous MU track in November 2015 that we were subjected to...this track has the potential for Viplav and Dhani's growth and that of their love, too!
- Quite like the dynamics of the multiple emotions on display...Dhani's instinctive nature coming to the fore, Viplav appreciating the same but enabling her to see reason...Viplav not going on a random "I hate TP" tangent, but offering a robust justification for why TP needs to serve his sentence...
- A THUMBS UP to the possible cause of unrest between Viplav and Dhani because of the above...and its not about fragile egos!!
It's instead about the deeper issues...
Of TRUST
Of BELIEF
Of CONFIDENCE
In your partner's word!
Viplav feels let down,
Dhani will also very soon
LOVE will not suffice,
It is ViDha's BOND which will now have to do the talking...

Now, coming to the HIGHLIGHTS of the week...that was...
ALL the ViDha moments were SUPERLATIVE this week, and I am not in la la land as I say this!π
So here goes...in no particular order...
1. The Cliffhanger and Beyond
- Am obviously referring to the clever Viplav on full display using his street-smartness to get Dhani out of her self-imposed exile
- LOVED the face-off between them; it was between their disparate worlds really!
- What a FANTASTIC display of the "mind" when Viplav explains to Dhani what her kundali is all about - that SHE is his "Suraksha Kawach"!

There was no way Dhani was not going to give in! This man meant serious business!
- And then, completely like a man POSSESED, just LOVED the way Viplav just lambasted the Tripathi household as he made his DECLARATION to the world "Humey nahin hai is kundali pe vishwas" as his hands did the talking...with all its force ---- the kundali and its so-called dosh PLUNGED out, completely! Absolutely SUPER stuff, this!βοΈ
- Followed by a MATTER-OF-FACT yet all POWERFUL..." Humein aaj hi Dhani se shaadi karni hai...jisey aana hai woh aaye!"

- Totally LOVED the moments that followed soon after...Dhani, as always, Viplav's guiding light "Humey nahin pasand aaya jis tarah se tumney baat ki"...Viplav, as only Viplav can, owning up, with a justification to match...the scumbags of the Tripathi household deserve nothing better...a taste of their own medicine by the RAZOR SHARP Viplav was a PLEASURE to watch!ππΌ
- And finally, the way in which the scene ended...what a WONDERFUL way by ViDha to express their insecurities..."Itna mat karo humsey pyar; dar lagta hai" to which Viplav replies with a simple "Kya humey tumhe khone ka dar nahin hai, Dhani?"π
- LOVED the CLASSIC ViDha way in which Viplav and Dhani signed off...Viplav ensuring that Dhani is alright..."zara muskura toh do" Dhani, and that "Viplav" attempt to 'extend' Dhani's smile! The ViDha touch, completely!π
2. The Engagement and its Build-Up
- There were some lovely nuanced moments between Viplav and Dhani building up beautifully to a fantastic crescendo
- In the ashram, as Viplav and Dhani hear about the engagement being finalized, both of them blush with a gentle smile, simultaneously! LOVELY give and take, that!
- Liked Viplav in character as he immediately goes to thank DT, while Dhani also equally in character as she says " Jis uparwle ne shanka dali thi, usi ne hatha diya hai"!! The moments that followed were absolutely ADORABLE as well...Viplav genuinely happy on seeing the entire Safed Gang at peace, followed by the super cute "shaadi ka bomb phodna chahte they" by Viplav...so ENDEARING, that even Badi Amma burst out laughing on hearing that!
- And the subtle moment in the end between ViDha...Viplav all smiles, while Dhani only just letting it all sink in!
Mishal and Eisha, you guys are simply FABULOUS!βοΈ
- Some CLASSIC ViDha moments during the actual engagement, with some great writing to boot!
Viplav teasing Dhani with "Badi jaldi aa gayi ho...ghar dhoondne main koi takleef toh nahin hui"π
LOVED, simply super duper LOVED that Viplav arranges the sharbat for the Safed Gang on his own...a simple gesture, but spoke volumes about Viplav's character!βοΈ
- Some supremely DELIGHTFUL moments between ViDha ensued...Viplav throwing caution to the winds, like only he can, and prodding Dhani to sip and more on the soft drink!π What a SUPERB ViDha touch that, to the otherwise clichd connotation of drinking from the same glass crap! Good work, CVs...really LIKED the moment when Viplav gesticulates to Dhani just how much she should be drinking in one sip nee, mouthful!ππ
- And finally, Hat's Off to Viplav for completely turning around the whole "nachanniya" fiasco set up by KT! What a FANTASTIC way to counter that with a "dadaji ke saaath jugalbandi"πππ
- LOVED the choice of song for Dhani's dance recital...BEAUTIFUL rendition by Dhani...so PURE...so IKRS...so many emotions conveyed at one go!
Devotion. Love. Gratitude.
This for me is IKRS, CVs...original work; not short-cuts with waltz set to 'rang de geruah'!
3. Nuanced ViDha moments - A Collage
- Really liked how Viplav and Dhani's relationship progressed last week...was apparent several times, in the simplest of conversations...in their matter of fact and completely believable interactions
- Really LIKED one such moment between ViDha outside TP's house soon after Viplav rescues Suvarna from the goons and Dhani tries to comfort Suvarna about TP.
LOVED the simplistic way in which Viplav goes about explaining the 'bigger picture' about TP to Dhani, SERIOUSNESS personified! A fraction of a second later, he immediately switches to the PLAYFUL Viplav, as soon he realizes that the just concluded conversation is weighing heavily on Dhani!
Truly, a FANTASTIC touch, CVs! This was the SEAMLESS INTEGRATION of Viplav's facets that I was referring to last week...So, this time when Viplav says "mahine main ek baar muskurati ho...chalo...hafte main ek baar", I too had a smile, actually a toothy grin gracing my face, as all this played out! Thank you, CVs...for listening & implementing!

- Another such NUANCED moment was when Viplav calls Dhani to inform her about Suvarna's arrangement in the Tripathi household. For one, simply love the sincerity and earnestness of everything that Viplav sets out to do...is such a rare trait in today's quick fix times! Simple LOVED the fluid mix of Viplav's playfulness on the one hand AND the sombre "Tumhein apney jasbaton pe kaaboo rakna hoga, Dhani" vis--vis Suvarna and TP!ππΌ
4. The story of the Ring - The Engagement Ring and More!
- Dhani looking resplendently simple, as only Dhani can, as she is lost deep in prayer
- LOVED, absolutely LOVED, the reference to ViDha's pehli mulaqaat...the 'prasad'! Nice touch, that CVs! What a long way Viplav and Dhani have come indeed!
- LOVED Viplav's concern on seeing Dhani's bruised finger, and Viplav being able to feel Dhani's pain, despite her complete denial! Dhani, you sure are one lucky gal!π
- Absolutely ADORED the role reversal thereafter, between Viplav and Dhani, in getting to fix the ring or was it the finger!π LOVED Viplav taking charge of the situation and 'admonishing' Dhani about 'bachpana'π, scared the living daylights out of Dhani as Viplav said "ungli kaath dena"; YET, the same Viplav, CLASPING Dhani's hand throughout the entire duration, with a "Tumhaari ungli hum thodey kaathne denge"!π
- Thereafter, the proverbial icing...Viplav, thinking of the new design of the ring, himself...and, the expression on Dhani's face...as all this sinks in...about the depth of this man...and what Viplav has come to mean to Dhani!

- And finally, the follow-through...of the closure of the "angoothi" story...LOVED Dhani's simple "Tumne Mai ko" as Viplav and Dhani burst out laughing, subsequent to the comedy of errors having just ensued between Viplav and Dulaari!
- LOVED, simply ADORED Viplav still concerned as he asks Dhani " Dard toh nahin ho raha hai, Dhani?"

5. Happiness is...Blowing Bubbles!
- LOVED the note on which the scene started - Dhani still recovering from the kundali effects, her resilience and stoicism in managing to wear the ring, notwithstanding!
- The conversational tone of the scene was simply OUTSTANDING! What a lovely touch that, when Viplav gets a cuppa tea for Dhani, as she is gently wiping a tear! Cherishable moments those, as Viplav asks Dhani "Dard ho raha hai"..."Abhi se jhooth"...to..."Aansoo dekh liye they maine"
- What an absolutely TREASURED moment that as Dhani STARTS and Viplav COMPLETES..."Zindagi...badal gayi hai" Truer words were never spoken!
- LOVED the give and take between Viplav and Dhani as time just flew between them...their 'being in love' so completely palpable! LOVED the tonality of Viplav's "Raat kitni khoobsurat"... aur... "saath main tum"!
Mishal and Eisha just NAILED it with their EXPRESSIONS!
So UNDERSTATED...so SUBLIME...so absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
- And then, the CLASSIC ViDha touch...
Viplav knowing very well that it is the simplest pleasures of life that give Dhani maximum Happiness
