The fact that Viplav makes it a point to see friend Raj in itself bodes well for Viplav. He is one thick skinned trainee lawyer not to be cowered by the rejection of his lady love. His reaction seems on the contrary, devoid of any inkling of melancholy, but instead he seems cheerful. Raj is well pleased to see Viplav takes Dhani's rebuff in a stride and his childhood friend appears well, normal and totally himself as the day he was born!
There is agreement between them that despite Dhani's rejection Viplav continues to love her.. Raj takes it seriously .. Dhani is no ordinary woman but a widow. However it's clear to him,that to his friend, she is just the woman he has fallen in love with. Novel thought, as not many blokes from affluent backgrounds actually fall in love with a woman who happens to be a widow. Raj realizes, his friend too is as exceptional as Dhani herself. Whereas she is a young widow , Viplav too is the one off contemporary young man who loves a young widow from an Ashram!
Falling in love with Dhani was perchance, but inevitable. Friendship, that with the passage of time evolved into the of sensation love! this was Viplav's definition of his love before Dhani,and he also within himself holds this belief firmly.But to bear the brunt of loving a widow, that he has to come across in day to day scenario's time and again. But what can be said is this righteous lion does roar when needs be!
The nosy chai wala over hears Raj saying that Viplav is marrying a widow. He couldn't help but gave a filthy remark about it, great to hear that! as she would be an old hand and experienced , no novice! will give him great joy! the chai wala, compares a widow to a woman of the night! To begin with Viplav laughs and pours the tea he served, on his hand! he burns his hand for his burning scathing remarks! takes him to task, watch your mouth next time! before talking rubbish against a woman! for that widow is Viplav' s wife to be! say it one more time and he'll pull his tongue out! Angered, Viplav throws money at the guy for the damage! Then picks up the bench and throws it at him! Viplav now fights with the world at large,for Dhani's honour ! but wins another supporter for his cause, his love for Dhani.. Raj assures him , it's Dhani as his sil as of now.! Viplav smiles a winning smile! Raj asks him a crucial question what strategies has put in place to win over Dhani's love?
One look at the traffic lights inspire Viplav's mind! green for right! red for wrong! a lie detector! a show of evidence ! a public display of lie and truth.. exposure.. yes Viplav decides, he will force the truth out of her in the form of a game. As a lover he is so utterly desperate to get an insight into the inner recesses of her heart that he would resort to any respectable medium that would give him what his heart thirsts for..
So the bloke returns again, despite her protests of don't want to speak to you ,and his reply is someone tell her haven't come here to see her or chin wag with her either.. all I want to do is find out the truth.. this lie detecting machine will be assist me in getting to the core of the matter within you Dhani ji... I asked you and you covered up the truth..now modern technology will help you to cough up the truth behind this no I don't love you Viplav nonsense! muses Viplav as he busily sets up the contraption... He'd better explain to the rather taken a back audience.. Viplav begins, thing is in my law practice have come across some shrewdly cunning criminals.. and he gives Dhani a meaningful look, who tried to conceal the truth! but this machine.. is all knowing and doesn't allow anyone to get away by lying ..one bit is clipped your sensory nerve and the other goes on your hand and it's a doddle! such fun! here maa ji have a go first... let's give all a demo.. won't hurt! While all look shifty and uncomfortable as who wants their skeletons in the closet to be exposed? or who really wants their dirty linen washed publically? But for Viplav he tries every desperate measure to find out the truth in Dhani's heart? Indrani answers.. the lie detector goes green , is that Dhani is the one she is most concerned about.. Raj laxmi lies she doesn't binge on snacks on the sly.. the light goes red! she says yes to Viplav becoming the son in law of the Ashram.. she means for herself of course.. !green light! Dulari after protest is forced into the chair.. this should be interesting Viplav muses, the brides mother does she love me? or love me not? muses Viplav but Dhani doesn't want her mother too take the test? Will mai be sharp with Viplav , say something which will put him off? Viplav shoos dhani off! and asks dukari, is her daughter a little bit haughty and feisty.? Dulari she says yes and gets a green light! much to her delight! and Dhani's angst! and she forces her mother off the chair! but Dulari wants her daughter to be seen as a truthful girl and encourages her to take the test! But Dhani rejects it as child's play and prefers to leave but Viplav reminds her, just to let you know you can leave! but I am not budging from here! before finding out the truth, unless she is afraid to lie before other! then that's fine! but Dhani clarifies boldly to him ,she is not afraid of anyone..
And stubbornly she accepts the gauntlet.. Viplav watches and muses, see Dhani I know how to get around you , to dare you! and viola !you are game set to go! yes Dhani for me it's a moment of reckoning when I find out what goes on in your heart.. so.. it's a green light yes from Dhani, she'll fight any one, go to any extent for her Ashram its a yes and green light! for putting her all to stand by her principles!.. last question Viplav asks her, have you a secret hidden in your heart.. that you fear , rather not talk about? Viplav waits.. Dhani gets lost in her thoughts.. Dulari shows concern. Dhani hears a man's voice. you are murderer Dhani! you committed the murder! look every one dhani's committed a murder! Viplav kneels beside her and looks up into her face and repeats his question.. have you hidden some secret in your heart, that you are frightened to talk about ? his eyes plead Dhani.. my love speak to me ..let it all come out ,remember I promised to stand by you.. in thick and thin, before everyone.. let me help , things can be better if we both fight, what you're up against on your own, tell me Dhani.. I want to carry your emotional baggage , unload upon me Dhani.. let me give rest to your weary soul.. Dhani...cries out Viplav's beseeching eyes.. but one look from Dhani at his face and Dhani gets up in a strop.. I don't need to give answers to pointless questions! and Viplav watches her leave.. and muses.. so the last question she maintains silence upon .. that means there is something that she fears in her... that makes it hard for her to trust others? he calls out to her, what is the meaning of you evading the last question? what do we all make out of this? what sense do I take Dhani? he calls out! but she gives him a dirty look and Viplav jumps up on the chair and claps his hands ecstatically ! so it's not me as a person she has an issue with! for she has no reason to fear me! never harmed her ! in fact always cared for ,went out of the way for her! protected her! told her I loved her! Viplav the girl is not afraid of you! you're not the beast for her ,the one she fears! you are her rakhsahhh! His heart rejoices in the middle of the Ashram..the lie detector revealed Dhani doesn't fear him!
The lie detector scene for me is quite simply a matter of one's conscience.. and the truth that one speaks out however hard or unpopular it may make them look.. but to speak a truth is no easy task especially if it is likely to call upon others placing judgement on you..for Dhani this may be the case? Some people are honest and speaking the truth is second nature to them.It is a way of life for them like Dulari, Inderani ,Dhani too bar one question which she passes by altogether.. Raj laxmi lies through her teeth..dhani too lied at Sarla's but that was for a good cause..and Viplav too went along with her lie..
In prison Tripurari paces in rage against viplav 's attack on him.. vows to avenge himself by making the whole family dance to his tunes.. rajlaxmi vists him.. has a go at him! why he picked on her vikal babu.. he mocks her he was never hers ? he loves dhani .. Raj laxmi gives him the news he may love her.. but Dhani doesn't loves Viplav .. Tripurari suggests if she doesn't and you love Viplav then why doesn't she set you up with Viplav, she's your friend.. ask her once, either the truth about whether or not she loves Viplav will come forward , or she will set you up with Viplav .. he tells Rajlaxmi this is the only option she has now.. and chuckles as she leaves .. Tripurari thinks he's he given rise to another dirty plot.. I can see this plan working towards bringing Viplav and Dhani closer.. can you?
At home Viplav is full of beans before his family wants kangans for Dhani from dadi! Viplav plays with the families sentiments who are guessing has Dhani said yes?? and he beams, yes...Dhani may say no today! but he would try and try till she says yes! he ensures he gives happy signals to his family! rather than that he is depressed. Dashrant gets confused by Viplav's behaviour , he confesses before kanak don't know one minute things look fine.. and hopeful.. next minute things seem to fail!
Dhani ,in her room at night.. Raj laxmi accuses her of not telling the truth before the lie detector she loves Viplav, especially since he loves her. Dhani confirms to Rajlaxmi she doesn't love him.. says Viplav doesn't know what love is? Raj laxmi challenges her and does she? she says to Dhani help a friend ,fine you don't love him than as a friend help her to set her up with viplav Dhani thinks with a frown and Raj laxmi fight her case but Dhani says not possible you two are not even compatible! Raj laxmi argues , if he can love you why not me ? we 're both same illiterate. Widows! in fact her ideas match more with him then Dhani's , her ideas are new age, liberal ideas like he thinks.. while her thoughts are decadent and out dated! so tell me am I more compatible or not with him? or any more confusion? and dhani says you go for the minute give me some time and I'll let you know.. Raj laxmi says how long? fine take your time.. this scene has to be a scene where a visitation by the devil becomes a blessing ..it's the truth without a lie detector.. Dhani is getting a few home truths shown to her by the selfish Rajlaxmi..but really, it's a blessing in disguise..
Dhani and Raj laxmi out at the devi maa temple.. Rajlaxmi , goes to pay the garland man and Dhani puts her puja thali down and begins her worship notices his pot and wonders, Viplav babu here? picks up the pot and smells it,her mind goes back.. reminded when he put beer in it.. and after sniffing it she mumbles, am I going mad? she turns around and it's him leaning by the wall of the mandir,amused he calls out to her, wha;ts the matter? why were you smelling the pot ?you remembering something I did ?and coldly ,she walks off.. he blocks her, stop! and she stops and he teases wow you stopped right away ?you will become a super wife don't tell me you know my feelings already? forget it! look what I got for you! kangans, dadi has given them she said this is especially for the girl you marry Viplav.. so shall I put them on you? Dhani glares at him.
Light episode in content.. the inclusion of the lie detector..some manipulation emerges.. teasing out some truths.. Rajlaxmi takes up trips advice .The evil will meet and plan , but it's the one of pure heart that will get their worship accepted by the gods.. hamlet53 23.12.15
#Precap Dhani say, did i say yes to you? that you brought these kangans here take them he says, and she lets them drop on the floor before devi maa's statue and he takes her hand places iton hs head.. swear by my head you don't love me.? and she swears before devi maa I dont love you.. viplav cries out, if my love is true Dhani will return to the mandir right now..he places the burning tea light on his hand..
