Agreed.. Infact she was tried of herself when everytime she was blamed and justifying reasons but right now she became more confident, brave and no words just actions.. I loved it when she tried to calm down the situation by singing bajjan.. I know Viplav always her strength, only I could recall the scene Viplav encouraged to face the reality.. This is what we need.. Nice post Roopal!!

Roopal.. hammie too loved your post.. it is simple yet strong ,just like Dhani herself. Yes she has certainly matured in her perception of reacting to a situation. She sees her mother was livid.. there is now some understanding in her, to also respect where her mother is coming from..she takes a decision which she thinks will bring in the calm in a very stormy situation.. she performs devotion in the form of a song to the maternal goddess Durga. The devotion brings all the widows together,and ultimately calms her mother dulari.. yes dhani has come a long way. By her devotional song she also inspires Viplav into puting forth a convincing argument for devotional dance and song before dulari..

and did we notice that Dulari very easily talks of honour killing. something that is very normal in many areas of the world. hopefuly the writer will address this too and not just let it go.

dulaari is herself so immersed in all these wrong justifications...that it is no longer d right or wrong ways of society..but the only way of society, the only system that works...and if dhanni breaks this system...she is wrong...

its actually very twisted...nt that she does not want her daughter to be happy, but raher she feels living a widows life is d only way for her...

society has been successful in doctrinating her to its old ways..but she is angry that her daughter isn't...
