I am getting what Viplav is trying to do and he is right in his stance. Every living human being on this earth has every right to live life the way they please and be happy...also the widows.
And that is what Viplav is trying to do, exactly what his Dadi explained to him, but the society in which these widows are living is so not ready to even accept them as humans, let alone change the rules and restrictions on them...so I guess Viplav should first bring that change starting in his own home with his own family, before he can convince society or even the widows of what he's doing is actually a very great thing

I completely agree. When Viplav took the ladies in white to the restaurant, he had first hand experience on how the society saw and behaved with them. He can shut the mouth of two but what about his family or the entire village? Will he be able to give this speech to the entire Banaras and spearhead the change? Here's a city built of old values and customs. It will take eons to make the change. Painting walls and a day out at the restaurant will not yield happiness. They may be diversions but not a permanent solution to bring happiness in their lives.

Totally agree with you. Many find Dulari and Dhani irritating, but I feel that their fear is not baseless. They have every reason to be skeptical.
It's not the situation btwn the Ashram walls they are scared of, but the outside world
Tomorrow when Viplav leaves the Ashram and goes back home, will this happiness sustain ????
Will the society see the widows the same way Viplav sees them ???? Will the outside world accept that the widows step out of the restrictions, that this very same society under the leadership of Viplav's granddad has put on them, and live life the way they want or the way Viplav suggests ??
To how many ppl will Viplav explain what he explained to the widows today ???? Will he be able to foremost convince his own grandfather, the upholder of Traditions and Religion of the change he wants to bring ????? His very own grandfather despises the widows

Guys I can understand ur thoughts completely my dears but for everything that happens there is a certain reason and I am sure cv's will try to create some sort of sense out what they have done and they will arrive at an exact point to justify each and every one of our thoughts and will provide us a good show, let's hope for the best from cvs becz they have handled a sensitive issue of Viplav making Vidhwa understand the importance of colours in life in a appropriate manner, hence they will provide a better way also for this, let's hope always the best from cv's.
